Chapter 1Eternal Damnation - Prologue

In the grand tapestry of existence, Good and Evil found themselves locked in an eternal debate, questioning the very essence of their being.

Good, even virtuous, began the conversation, "What does your existence contribute?"

Evil, with a sly retort, responded, "I don't know, why do you exist?"

This exchange set the stage for a timeless conversation where neither side would yield, each challenging the other's purpose, with no end in sight.

Their argument raged on, neither side willing to concede, each questioning the other's existence, locked in an eternal debate that spanned the ages.

This discourse, unyielding and eternal, knew neither victor nor vanquished, a perpetual state of philosophical conflict that had persisted since the dawn of time and would endure until the end of days.

A strong wind blows through the universe, and a strange voice accompanies the wind, questioning the laws of the cosmos.

"How does one distinguish between good and evil? Is it by their color, their appearance, or their actions?"

Furthermore, is God inherently good, evil, both, or all things at once? Are we right, or are we wrong?

In the grand scheme of things, it seems we know nothing.

What we do understand, however, is that we exist, we live, suffer, and eventually pass away.

Our experiences define our understanding, for how can we comprehend that which we have never felt?

It is through our experiences that we grasp a glimpse of the truth.

The wind reached the World of Zibar, as the voice continued its murmurs,

"Today, I feel compelled to share a story. A story is woven from the threads of love, fate, selfishness, good, evil, lies, truths, and countless twists."

It is a narrative of warriors plucked from their worlds and thrust into a realm unknown, where they grapple with a foreign existence.

Ignorant of their new surroundings, they battle through life and death, resisting the pull of fate, challenging life itself, and defying the specter of death.

This is a tale of victory and loss, a saga that pits them against the very world they find themselves in—a magnificent world teeming with a vast array of characters.

This marks the initial chapter of my grief, a story I call "Denial."

A gust of wind carried a paper bearing the picture of the five heroes throughout various lands and territories.

Eventually, it landed in the hands of a mysterious man with red eyes, elegant hands, and a striking appearance.

His gaze fell upon the picture, and his pupils disappeared as if his entire eye had become one giant pupil.

He shredded the paper and calmly remarked, "So... here as well... these are the calamities the universe has sent to deal with us. Not bad."

However, his composure quickly gave way to anger. Tears welled in his eyes, and a deadly red aura enveloped the fortress around him.

He cried, and screamed, shaking the landscape, his voice a mix of anguish and rage.

"Why?!" He shouted, The cries of anguish, anger, and despair echoed through the air, each "Why" reverberating with a haunting intensity.

The unknown man, whose world was now threatened by the arrival of the heroes, couldn't contain his emotions.

His tears flowed freely as he unleashed his frustration upon the world.

"Why can't my children live? Why can't my people thrive? Why is the universe so cruel?" he questioned.

A lament that seemed to encompass not just his suffering but the collective pain of all living beings in his realm.

His voice quivered with a mixture of confusion, sadness, and anger as he continued to shout, "WHY CAN'T WE JUST LIVE IN PEACE, WHY?!!!"

The wind continues its course into the kingdom of Marmaros, where towering statues bore silent witness,

A majestic waterfall sang its eternal song, and glass-like architectural marvels graced the landscape.

The voice of grief itself, an eternal darkness of nothingness, delved into deep contemplation. "Why have the heroes been sent after them?"

The question echoed, as the world continued its merry dance.

Was the mere act of asking for peace too audacious? Did their appearance, starkly different from the norm, trigger such a response?

Perhaps it was their overwhelming power that had sown the seeds of suspicion, or their inclination toward violence that had stirred the hornet's nest

But in a world where violence was a part of life's tapestry, did it deserve complete eradication

What would remain of the world without its volatile undercurrents, and were those who wielded violence always evil?

The queries persisted, a relentless exploration of the unknown in a land filled with laughter and jubilant creatures.

The wind carries its course, now to the Kingdom of Barbras, where sandy dunes stretched as far as the eye could see.

A colossal stone-built structures loomed large, and gorillas and humans coexisted, their physical prowess a testament to the land's unique culture.

Dwarfs, like hidden gems, added to the population, and a colossal rocky mountain bore a single name etched in time.

In the heart of this fierce land, the voice's musings continued.

"Questions after questions, they just keep on rising, with no end to the endless circumstances."

The universe operated according to its whims, regardless of human preferences or understanding.

The cosmos danced to its rhythm, indifferent to human contemplation, and so, humans could only deduce, assume, and strive for truth, even though they might never fully reach it.

The wind now transitions, to the kingdom of Askelis, a place where steel and wood seamlessly coexisted, where nature and urban life merged harmoniously.

Elegant men and women strolled the streets, and a diverse population, including a significant number of elves, contributed to the city's beauty. Horses added to the picturesque scene.

Here, the voice chanted, "But we don't need to reach the absolute truth, do we?

We simply require a miniature understanding of the world we've been entrusted with."

Human understanding continued to evolve, and there remained hope that one day, they might inch closer to the absolute truth they sought.

To achieve this, they had to observe and observe the world in which they dwelled.

In this world of beauty and insight, the journey toward understanding continued to unfold.

A ripple in the cosmic fabric cracks open a portal, creating a pathway through dimensions.

From this rift fell a solitary figure, plummeting to the ground, struggling to maintain composure.

"Huff... Where am I? What just happened?"

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
