After Tommy reported the disappearance of two members from another group, Talon wasted no time and went to meet the group's representatives, who had come to their camp seeking help.
After all, Talon's group had the largest number of people. Claire followed closely behind him.
The representatives explained that the two had gone missing after failing to return by nightfall.
They had been sent out to forage for food but hadn't come back, even as today stretched on, and their group's anxiety was growing.
Claire's face creased with worry, imagining the worst. They feared the missing members could have encountered wild animals or gotten trapped somewhere.
The tension spiked even further when they stumbled upon signs of the mysterious cave.
It was late afternoon, nearing dusk, when Talon suggested, "How about we start the search tomorrow morning? Night is falling soon, and it'll be dangerous if we head out tonight."
