As he moved through the passageway, shielded by multiple array formations, Jiang Chen carefully kept his divine sense in check, knowing he was nearing the private quarters of the Purple Heaven Holy Lord.
His path took him past magnificent palaces and lofty pagodas until he reached a jade platform situated on a cliff's edge. There, a simple yet elegant pavilion housed a middle-aged man and a young woman, sitting opposite each other.
The middle-aged man, his hair and beard a distinguished silver, radiated wisdom. His expression was as calm as a still lake, mirrored in his peaceful eyes. Dressed in black robes adorned with a purple emblem representing the Holy Land, he presented an imposing figure.
However, Jiang Chen was intrigued by the man's almost undetectable aura, finding it a curious anomaly.
