"Look what just came in, your Highness!" Victoria beams, holding up a new shimmering gold dress.

"Oh wow, it's beautiful, but..."

"It will fit." She smiles proudly. "I commissioned the seamstress to create a new wardrobe of maternity dresses."

I chuckle and shake my head, "Thank you, Victoria. What would I do without you?"

She pulls her eyes from the dress and glances down at me, brows raised. "It makes me happy to be beneficial, Majesty," she says in a matter-of-fact tone, never wavering from her position as a Follower, my invaluable lady-in-waiting.

"It makes me even happier." I wink, watching her dash out of the bathroom as I sink back in the warm, bubbly tub.

It's true. I'm not sure what I would do without Victoria, the woman thinks of everything. She spoils me, never has a bad attitude, and I can talk to her about anything. If I'm being honest, Victoria is probably my best friend next to Dominic.
