A Quick Game
There were several Trial games that concluded in ELijah losing in all of them. Bargi added calmly, "It's fine to lose, but under such pressure, you have to be able to think clearly…Think of your time in the Den. What did you do to survive?" Bargi inquired
The two were in a different game; this time, Elijah had taken a few pieces. They were mostly pawns. " I survived by tracking the Fallen and figuring out how they used their abilities and how I could somehow beat it". Elijah took another piece, which was a rook. It was on his side of the board.
Bargi realized a soft chuckle and then added with excitement, "Yes, that was a good strategy, but that will only work for Fallen…some Fallen might be smart, but they are not as smart as humans. I don't think using the same methods to care for a Fallen would work on a human.
