[Do you wish to buy one Mental Clarity Potion?]
Hazel confirmed his purchase and cringed when his special points decreased to 30.
The potion immediately entered his inventory. After confirming the item was there, he immediately visited her class again.
Hazel appeared in front of the class and courageously looked around. Some seniors put on hostile gazes, but he didn't care about them a bit.
After he confirmed her location, Hazel stepped into the class. Some seniors murmured when they saw a junior daringly enter the class. One of them, a fat male with messy hair, even approached him and said, "Yo, what is a kid doing here? Are you lost or something? Do you need me to find your parents?" he asked in a sarcastic tone.
Hazel sighed inwardly. Why couldn't people just mind their business? Why did busybody failures like him always exist everywhere?
Hazel disliked the ugly fat failure in front of him already, but as a proper adult, he had to respond to him in the most mature way. "I just have business with Senior Celina."
"Celina... How dare you call your senior by their first name? I have seen you walking together with her. Celina probably is easy going in your eyes, but how dare you mistake it as a sign that you can act familiar toward her?"
"Huh?" Hazel realized. This fat ugly in front of him had mental illness too. This bloated pig couldn't be reasoned with, so it would be a waste of time to talk to him.
Hazel was about to shout for Celina's name, handed the potion to her, and finished his business. However, Celina approached him first.
"Junior, what's the matter?" Celina asked.
"Kyaa, Dumont." The obese monster jumped in surprise when Celina suddenly appeared behind him.
"I forgot to give you something, Celina. Let's talk in private, Celina." Hazel purposefully called her first name two times just to mess with the monstrous fat pig.
"Dumont, you know this guy?"
"Why do I have to answer you? Who are you again?" Celina tilted her head and asked innocently.
"This is me. We hung around a few times in the canteen. You even treated me with tasty dishes before."
Celina touched her lips and looked up, as if recalling something. "I treat people everyday. It's like charity. It's nothing special, but Junior Hazel is someone special to me, so please don't bother him, okay?" she said with a bright smile.
Even though Celina warned him, the man looked at Hazel grudgingly. People didn't need half a brain to guess he would cause trouble for him later, but Hazel would face any adversary without fear.
But it seemed he didn't need to worry about the man anymore. Even Celina could see his grudging gaze at Hazel. She sighed and pulled him by the collar.
"Didn't I tell you to not cause trouble for Hazel?" After saying that, Celina landed a knee kick on his stomach, making him kneel.
"I am always easy going to everyone, but it is always bastards like you who mistake my kindness as special signs and deter people from being close to me. Listen, I treat beggars with equal kindness, but don't cross the line such as harming someone who is actually special to me. If not, I will make your life like hell."
Celina pushed the man and left him crawling on the floor while looking at her with a disbelieving face. It seemed his world just shattered.
Celina didn't give a single care about his problem. She pulled Hazel and said, "Let's go, junior."
Hazel let her pull him. Once they left the class, he asked, "Is it okay to do that to your friend?"
"Friends? You misunderstand something, junior. None of them is my friend. I always gave them something, but none of them actually gave me something. I didn't lie when I said I was just doing charity to them because that's how charity works. I always give something without getting anything in return."
"Then why have you been hanging around with them?"
Celina smiled as she put on a melancholic look. "My father always said to help people in need, and they would help you in return. My actions were all based on his advice. However, now I am starting to doubt him."
Hazel patted her on the head and said, "Your father wasn't wrong. You just haven't found someone who is sincere with you yet."
Celina stopped and looked at him. "Now you are wrong. I just realized recently that I didn't treat people who actually cared about me well."
"Well, at least you have learned your lesson."
Celina smiled at him. Then, he pulled him to sit on a bench near them. "Forget about those people. As long as you are on my side, no one will dare to bother you. I promise. Now, shall we move to the main topic? Why do you want to talk with me in private?"
"Ah, yeah." Hazel hid his hand behind his back and pulled out a vial from his inventory. After that, he gave it to her. "This is for you, senior."
"What is this?"
"I have been thinking about how to help you focus on fixing your life, so I have this potion for you. This is a Mental Clarity Potion. It can relax your mind and make you focus on your task. Please drink this, senior. I will give it to you daily."
Celina frowned when Hazel slipped the potion in her hand. "How much does this potion cost? You don't starve yourself by buying this potion, do you?"
Hazel chuckled when he heard that. It was understandable that she asked that. The price of a potion was quite expensive. Even though the cheapest potions on the system shop were 200 points or equal to $200, the price in real life wasn't the same. The cheapest price of a potion in real life inflated to five times the price of the system shop price or even more expensive.
The Mental Clarity potion could affect the mind, and mind affecting items were more expensive than physical affecting items. In a potion shop, the cheapest price of this potion was around $1.200.
"This is not a laughing matter, junior. I will feel bad if I make someone starve. I will pay for this potion."
"Well, I won't stop you from paying," Hazel said. He wouldn't reject easy money.
"Where did you buy this potion, though? Mind affection potions were hardly in stock. Can you provide this for me everyday?"
"There shouldn't be a problem. Let's just say I have connections."
"Okay. I trust my junior." Celina opened the lid of the vial and drank the potion.
After chugging all the liquid, she widened her eyes and looked at the empty bottle in surprise. "It really worked! My mind feels at peace right now!"
"Of course it would work. That potion is genuine."
"Haha, of course, junior. I always trust you. Anyway...." Celina opened her smartphone and checked the price of the potion on the internet. "The most expensive is $2.000. Alright, I will pay you $2.000 every time you give me this potion."
"Eh, that's too much. Also, didn't you say you only get $1.000 pocket money everyday?"
"Fufufu, do you think I am a naive person, junior? Of course, I invest my money here and there. I produce $10.000 everyday."
Hazel put on a curious expression. Rich people really knew how and where to produce money easily. Maybe he could learn a few things from her.
"Your expression says you are curious about investing. I can teach you later."
"Haha, thanks. Though, does my expression really give out my feelings?" Hazel asked. This was the second time a girl said this to him. He heard it for the first time from Mircalla.
Before Celina could reply, the bell rang. The students immediately entered the classrooms in droves.
"Let's talk about many things later," Celina said while rubbing his head.
As she pulled back her hand and stood up, Hazel grabbed her wrist. "Hey, senior. Tell me...."
After talking with her, Hazel wasn't sure if she was kind to him out of obligation as a good human being or if she liked him. Even though the system said she had high affection toward him, he was still unsure. Maybe there was a fault in the system, so he needed to confirm it.
"Senior, am I your friend?"
Celina laughed with a crisp voice, making him awkward. Realizing the corridor was almost empty, she smiled at him and leaned her face close to his face. "Well, we can be friends, but are you sure you want us to stop at just friends?"
After saying the ambiguous words, Celina kissed his forehead and ran away, stunning him.
Hazel blinked his eyes while rubbing his forehead. He could still feel the sensation of her springy, wet lips. He closed his eyes, trying to recall the sensation over and over, so he wouldn't forget. He would fall into his thoughts for a long time if Mircalla didn't suddenly whisper in his ear.
"You can get more than a forehead kiss. For now, shouldn't you go to your classroom?"
Hazel opened his eyes and realized the corridor was already empty. He immediately got up and rushed away to his classroom in the next building.
