Avina was well-rested once awake. Her energy was back and even the sun greeted her from behind the curtains. Who knows who did a little morning cleaning, but the dust accumulated in her room disappeared.
Sitting on her bed, Avina blinked her eyes, adjusting to the morning light. She smacked her lips and let out a mighty yawn. Slowly slipping out of bed, she rubbed her sleepy eyes, hoping to fully wake up.
Her tired steps lead her to where the most noise was - the kitchen. Inside, Mom and Dad were sitting at the table discussing something in hush voices. Their attention was placed solely on the conversation not noticing Avina walking up behind them.
"What are we going to do? None of us can take care of her right now, and I don't want to force Yeni. She's got a goal." Mom poured another cup of coffee for herself and took a sip. She looked over to Dad hoping he would have a solution.
