Danny hadn't noticed Avina walking closer. In fact, his eyes were glued on his phone as if he was waiting for something to happen.

However, when nothing happened, he regrettfully placed down his phone. His hand reached into his hair, and he ruffled his golden locks.

Danny let out a frustrated sigh. He said pretty words earlier, but now, he was regretting it.

Barely a day, yet he was already missing Vedonna. It was as if there was an empty hole in his heart and nothing could fill it in.

He glanced at his phone once more. Vedonna's contact was flashing on the screen and the call button was calling out to him.

Danny's finger hovered over the screen. He bit his lip in contemplation yet he didn't move an inch.

"Danny!" James called out.

Danny's finger stopped in place. He looked at the phone once more before deciding to lock it and place it back into his pocket.

His sights shifted and he saw James a distance away. "What's up?"
