Surprise! Surprise!

Third Person POV

"Are you going to tell me what's going on?" Adam asked his still smirking wife.

"In due time, I will." She replied.

"Fair enough." He said. "What about the plan you said you'd tell me once I told you what I was hiding from you?" He asked.

"You'll be mad once you found out." She told him.

"Why would you think that?" Adam raised an eyebrow at her.

"I know you Adam, you won't let me finish the first two words before you come at me with the intent of killing me." She told him, amplifying this uneasy feeling he was feeling from the moment she told him about her plan.

"Don't test my patience, Emma! I was never the patient man to begin with, I'm only trying because of you." He warned, dangerously low.

Emma's phone rung before she could answer him.

"I'm listening." She said after she looked at the caller's ID and accepted the call.

"They're demanding a prove of my new loyalty." The person said.

1

"Give it to them." She said.

"Young miss, you should think this over. Young master Giuseppe came by and he knows it's you, and if Mr. Knights find out, he-"

"I once asked you who your loyalty lays with, will you remind me of your answer then?" She cut him off.

"With you, young miss. Always with you." The person replied.

"Then do what I say, let me worry about other stuff." She ordered.

"Understood, young miss."

Emma, cut the call and looked up at Adam who was looking at her all the time. "You said, you want to know what I'm doing?" She asked him.

Adam nodded.

"I'm planning on killing Gisela, in fact I just gave the order." She told him without flinching.

Adam laughed, "what the hell are you talking about?" He asked, amused by her randomness.

"Adam-"

"What then, you'll kill Giuseppe, then me, then Müller?" He chuckled.

"I'm serious, Adam." She said firmly causing her husband's laughter to die down and a frown to etch on his face.

He seemed as if his mind was still unable to process whatever he just heard, he kept looking at her with the same expression.

"What? Is it that hard to believe?" Emma asked, chuckling. "For me to avenge my mother, I can sacrifice every living thing on this earth, I think I made that clear already." She added, a crazy look on her features.

Adam slowly advanced towards her, yet menacingly. "Have you fucking lost your mind! Have you finally gone crazy!" He hissed.

When she didn't answer, he sped his movement and was in front of her in an instance with his hand around her neck in a strong grip, cutting her supply of air. "HAVE YOU FUCKING LOST IT!" He yelled slamming her into the wall, hard. So hard that blood stained the wall where her head hit. "WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE TO MY DAUGHTER!" He yelled again.

"A small sacrifice to gain justice for my mother." She chuckled madly at him.

It was as if the Emma he knew was gone, and replaced with this maniac serial killer. The look in her eyes was so empty and cold that every trace of his beautiful wife disappeared, and this crazy woman he was holding by her throat came in her stead which caused the raging beast in him to go even more ballistic. "If, and I'm saying if you touch so much as a strand of my daughter's hair, I'll kill you. I swear to almighty, I'll kill you." He threatened.

"You can do shit, Mr. Knights. You can do me no harm, your oath is preventing you from even strangling me properly." She laughed.

"If you you think I care about a fucking oath to protect a maniac when my daughter is in danger, then you have something else coming your way. Bring my daughter back home before the night fall or heads will roll, and pack your fucking bags and leave my premises! I have no intention of housing a maniac nor do I want you near my children until you see a psychiatrist!" He told her before he released his grip on her throat and turning around to exit the room.

"Dad!" The door burst open revealing a panting Giuseppe.

"What is it?" Adam asked his son.

"Gisela-"

Giuseppe couldn't utter a word, his throat clogged. He didn't know how to deliver the news to his parents.

"Speak up, boy! What's wrong with your sister?" Adam snapped, both irritated and afraid of what his son may utter. Afraid his fears would be coming true the moment his son opens his mouth, he didn't show it but he had a small piece of faith somewhere deep inside him that Emma wasn't capable of doing such thing. She wouldn't harm her own flesh because of something so trivial as revenge, she wouldn't harm their daughter no matter how cruel and unforgiving she is. He prayed she would spare at least their little one from this sick game that's been going on for decades now.

"Papa, Gisela is all over the news." Giuseppe was barely keeping his tears in.

"What are you talking about?" Adam asked, heading to the bed to take the remote control to switch the TV on.

The remote control slipped through his hand when he saw what was on the news.

It was a video of his little girl surrounded with fire while slept in a bed so similar to the one in her bedroom but it was a not it because she was not home, fire kept growing as she slept peacefully unaware of her surroundings. Until she finally woke up, and she started crying for help, for her Onkel but in vain. Adam fell to his knees, his tears slipping through his eyes unknowingly and uncontrollably as his little angel screams kept going on and on until silence reigned over.

Until she was no longer.

The screen was then split into two, one side with the video playing on repeat while the other had a picture of a burned body of a child.

Adam screamed and threw the robots towards the TV, breaking it down.

He then stood up and charged towards Emma, choking the life out of her.

Giuseppe ran to his mother rescue, but in vain. He couldn't pry his father's hands from his mother. Adam was a goner.

Until a voice stopped them all in their tracks.

"Papa, Giu?

A/N

Hey, lovelies!

I was planning on just writing it and keeping it until tomorrow to publish it, but then I said why not just publish it now.

So what do you think of Emma's behaviour in this chapter? What made her act the way she did? And what will Adam do?

Hope you enjoy it.

Until next time, bye bye.
