The schoolyard buzzed with life as students spilled out of their classrooms, but Kenji wasn't paying attention. His gaze was fixed on a scene unfolding near the back of the school: Momo Ayase sitting front of Ken Takakura, facing off against a group of bullies. When they see Ayase, they stop throwing things at Ken. Ayase Momo then stand up and leave the classroom. After her Ken immediatly leave classroom.
"There it is," Kenji thought to himself. "The moment that starts it all."
It was a pivotal scene, and watching it play out in real life sent a thrill through him. By the end of the day, Ken would be cursed by Turbo Granny, and Momo would awaken her psychic abilities in the chaos of an alien abduction. Knowing what lay ahead, Kenji decided he couldn't just sit back and watch anymore.
"Tonight's going to be interesting," he muttered, walking away from the school grounds. He wasn't going to interfere with what was going to happen tonight. Because without these events they would not have gained power. And plot would change. He will join after they gain their power. When the alien attack Momo's house. He followed Momo that night.
Kenji watched from a distance as Momo screamed, thrashing against the light that lifted her higher into the sky.
Then, just as quickly as it had begun, Momo's psychic powers surged to life, erupting in a shockwave that sent the alien technology into disarray. The beam faltered, and Momo was sent crashing to the ground, with Ken falling right beside her.
Kenji felt the tension in the air. "Now it begins…"
Kenji saw the opportunity to step in as Ken and Momo began to get back on their feet, both clearly shaken by what had just happened. "Time to make my entrance" Kenji thought.
Before approaching, Kenji waited for to Ken get his nickname 'Okarun'.After that, with his usual calm confidence, Kenji approached the two. His footsteps were quiet at first, but he soon called out to them from the shadows.
"You two alright?"
Both Ken and Momo turned to him with wide eyes. Momo took a defensive stance, her psychic energy still flickering around her. Ken narrowed his eyes. "Who the hell are you?" he demanded.
Kenji smirked, his eyes glinting with something dangerous. "Let's just say… I know what's going on, and I'm here to help."
Ken raised an eyebrow. "Help? With what exactly?"
Kenji shrugged slightly, his expression unfazed. "With everything."
Ken stepped forward, his body still tense. "And why should we trust you?"
Kenji took a step toward them, his posture calm, but there was a subtle power radiating from him. He wasn't just anyone; he was someone who had the answers. He needed them to understand that.
"Because I can do this," Kenji said, and before Ken or Momo could react, he raised his hand. A sudden surge of energy crackled through the air. The wind picked up, swirling around them, and in a blur, Kenji was gone. He moved faster than the human eye could follow, darting around them and back in an instant.
Ken and Momo stood frozen, eyes wide in shock.
"You're... you're faster than light!" Momo stammered.
Kenji smirked again, stepping back into view. "I can be. Godspeed—it's one of the perks of being in this mess. But don't worry, that's just the tip of the iceberg."
Ken's expression softened just a little, as he processed what had just happened. "Alright, we could use some help. But I still don't know what's going on here."
"We'll talk later," Kenji said, already moving toward them. "For now, let's get your grandma's place."
Ken, Momo, and Kenji walked in silence for a while. The tension between them had softened, but there was still an undercurrent of caution. As they approached Momo's house, the weight of the situation seemed to press down on them all. Kenji knew that what was coming next would change everything for them.
"I can help with whatever is going on around here," Kenji said casually, but his voice had an edge of determination. "There's a lot more than you realize."
Ken nodded. "I know... and I'm guessing it's only going to get worse."
