Godlike: The Rise of a Skill-stealing Rune Master chasing revenge

Utterly mad and consumed by hatred, Sebastian attacked Erika Luttrell’s manor. As the woman incinerated him to ashes, Sebastian died with a crazed smile on his face, finding humor in his own death. But fate had a wild twist in store for Sebastian. Thanks to a trinket bequeathed by his dead father, the pyromancer gets sent back to the past, landing right in the middle of another shot at payback. There is only a tiny insignificant problem plaguing the man. Madness followed him, pushing him to take completely avoidable risks. With a grin on his face, and flames in his hands, Sebastian will make those who ruined his family pay, and turn into cinders all the thespians within the mystical realm who gave him his powers. --------------- RELEASE SCHEDULE: Two chapters a day UNLESS I have real life stuff to attend. Expect the unexpected

Taking a deep breath, Sebastian focused even more and kept channeling his mana into the ballista's circuits.

The weapon thrummed with power, its mana-infused bolts ready to be unleashed.

The rune master knew this was his one chance—if the bolt missed or failed to inflict enough damage, the consequences would be catastrophic. Not that he cared, though.

There were many things Sebastian was, but for sure he wasn't a good samaritan.

He didn't feel attached to these people, even if he lived among them for months since he entered the Venquilar, and knowing they were nothing but the byproduct of this weird item, or of some unknown magic, made him even less attached.

All around him, the defenders on top of the walls kept raining arrows down, finding their marks on the flanks, backs and heads of the fleeing fangeds.

Sebastian caught a glimpse of Knight Leo, his blade flashing as he rallied his men and pushed them to scale the walls.
