But fate had a wild twist in store for Sebastian. Thanks to a trinket bequeathed by his dead father, the pyromancer gets sent back to the past, landing right in the middle of another shot at payback. There is only a tiny insignificant problem plaguing the man. Madness followed him, pushing him to take completely avoidable risks. Blinding orbs and sinister schemes

A couple of hours passed. Sebastian, cloaked in dust motes dancing in a single shaft of sunlight, remained alone within the ravaged villa.

The giant rat's destructive rampage was clear everywhere. Walls were crumbled, furniture was splintered, and debris littered the once grand halls.

Yet pockets of the villa remained untouched. Long, dark corridors stretched before him, each room a silent tomb for past memories he had no right to probe.

Sebastian kept searching, his steps echoing in the cavernous halls. Even he didn't know exactly what he was searching for. Answers? But to what questions?

Peace? But from what of the many problems at hand?

Most likely, what he was trying to do was simply satisfy his curiosity, or to actually stop thinking for a second.

Every rustle of displaced debris and every groan of settling wood reminded him of when he had been within this place earlier and the chase that took place here.
