CREATURES OF THE LAVA MOUNTAIN (1).

"Oh my God! Sarah is that a fire tree I see over there!" Ulanni screamed not able to hold her excitement in.

"Wow! It is Ulanni, it looks like the tree is on fire. And I feel really hot too…

"Sarah started excited but her tone took on a perplex end.

Flint was also in marvel as she didn't know that the human world possessed magical dwellings like this.

She also felt the immense heat, but it was something that could be easily ignored. The enthusiastic children didn't even seem to notice that the compartment was getting hotter by the moment.

Flint turned to stare at Sarah as she was acting excited too, she was not used to seeing Sarah acting excited as that was Ulanni's forte, and it just felt weird seeing Sarah smiling like a kid.

Sarah had never seen the Lava Mountain, her captors then had knocked her out, so she hadn't been able to view the Lava Mountain then.

"Sarah you have to move over, I have to get a closer look at that tree!" Ulanni requested with urgency, feeling as the Mussel Mobile seemed to have slowed down.

"Hmmm… Why don't you tilt over from your chair?" Sarah tried giving another solution as she was torn between letting Ulanni seat close to the window.

"But it wouldn't be as clear as when I am very close to the window" Ulanni tried persuading Sarah.

"What tree are you talking about?" Sarah had asked in the hopes of taking off Ulanni's mind from exchanging seats, and it had worked.

"It's over there, the one with it's branches having yellow spots." Ulanni answered eargarly.

Sarah turned to look at the tree Ulanni was pointing at.

The tree looked exquisite with it's tall fiery red branches slopping with curve downwards.

The tree resembled a palm tree with it's leaves slitted at numerous spots.

It could be spotted almost everywhere as they moved in forward, as it really stood out with the splotches of yellow spotting it's leaves and also it's root.

"Hmmm it does look beautiful. Oh my! Is that a fruit I see?" Sarah said with her fingers pointed straight at the top of the tree.

Flint took her eyes from them and turned to face the other children in the compartment.

This was the happiest she had ever seen most if them since her arrival at the compound.

When the children had been back at the compound, they had always looked lifeless and more like robots acting in a command.

Flint just hopped that where they were going would be a better place for them all.

Back at the driver's cockpit.

"Sage…it seems the monsters are a little bit too active today…" Kabe said with his lips in a frown.

Sage sat up and leaned closer to the dashboard, and peered into the map to see a large number of red spots in it.

The map only showed the location of the Lava Mountain monsters that was within a five killometer raidus of the Life Line where the Mussel Mobile was moving slowly.

"Just what good luck we have…" Sage said as she cursed under her breadth.

"You might want to start on getting the shoot system ready" Kabe said while flexing his hand to have a tighter grip on the steering.

"Just great!" Sage muttered, as she pushed on a button by the side of her chair.

[ Initiating Shoot System… ]

…Beep_beep_beep…

[ Locking Targets…]

[ Twenty-five Target locked on.]

[ Ready To Shoot…]

"Hold off a bit…Let's get into their mist" Kabe told Sage with his eyes fixed on a spot on the map here there was a gathering of red dots.

Sage sighed, but there was no longer any sign of jokingness on her face, she had her eyes focused sharply in the map and both her hands firmly gripping the curved steering in front of her.

With her thumb slightly raised upon a red button which was spotting the top of the steering, she was fully ready for when she received Kabe's signal.

Back at the compartments. Ulanni had succeed in having her face plastered against the window, with Sarah trying to cajole her to sit back down on her seat.

But it seemed like Ulanni was having none of that as she kept swelling and pointing at various things and asking for Flint's thoughts of it.

"Flint look, that tree had black spots. I would say the tree takes after you after all you are the only one with black hair" Ulanni said while turning briefly to glance at Flint.

Flint was at a loss of what to say in response to Ulanni's statement. She could only smile back at her.

Since that had advanced forward unto this fiery world Flint had felt her Fight Mode activated.

This only happened to her when there was impending danger around the corner.

Flint knew she had to keep it in, because even if she told Sarah there was nothing she could do to help and telling Ulanni would only make her worried and scared.

Ulanni had turned back around to keep looking out if the window. "Ahhhhhh!" Ulanni screamed as what she saw made her let a sharp cry of horror.

Her loud cry had stunted Flint and Sarah who were the closest to her.

And it had also sucessfully gotten the attention of all the children in the second compartment.

Silence covered the compartment like a blanket, with all the children tilting to stare in the direction where Ulanni was seated.

There were now more than s benty pairs of eyes fixed in her.

Sarah who was also shocked by Ulanni's outburst turned to stare at her and asked her. "What is the matter Ulanni?" Her question was met with silence.

Recalling that Ulanni had been staring out the window when she screamed she also slowly turned her head around to look out the window and see what had cursed Ulanni to scream.

On seeing what was out there, her eyes widened in shock and her mouth opened in a silent scream.
