The elder returned, his weathered hands clutching a crisp sheet of parchment. "Ahem," he cleared his throat, drawing their attention.
"So, Mr. Five, we have a perfect spot in mind for your holy place. It's not the largest, but it's a quiet area just outside the village walls and should provide ample space for your needs."
"Perfect," Alex replied, a genuine smile spreading across his face. The process seemed to be moving much smoother than he'd anticipated.
The elder, however, didn't seem quite finished. His brow furrowed as he stroked his beard thoughtfully.
"Now, before we get to the official paperwork, may I inquire about the religion you plan to establish with this holy place? What kind of deities will be worshipped there?"
Alex's smile faltered for a moment. He hadn't entirely considered the religious aspect of his holy place. He glanced at Amelia and Linda, hoping for some guidance, but they both wore equally confused expressions.
