Chapter 6 -An Order-

Looking at the figure with a pale face, Edith gained his consciousness back as he let go of Oriel who looked frightened, Edith stepped backwards as Oriel was staring at him.

'This beast was trying to kill me!'

'The worthless brat! How dare you!'

Oriel's expression changed from frightened to angry, as he shouting at his brother while pointing at him.

"You! Bastard!!"

Oriel pulled the sword from the wall as he leaped in front, "I will kill you!"

The Second prince slashed at Edith who was dumbfounded by the situation, before the sword reached his throat, Edith leaned himself to dodge the sword as he fell on the floor looking at his brother.

Oriel didn't stop as he continued to swing the sword at Edith, he didn't care anything anymore, Oriel was now controlled by anger and shame.

"How dare you!"

"How dare you!!!!!"

Edith rolled himself as the sword passed him by an inch as he quickly run around the room while dodging the sword.

However, no matter how Oriel swung the sword, it never touch Edith, even a strand of hair.

"Brother!"

"I'm sorry!" said Edith as he bended his knee while dodging the slash but no matter how many times he called Oriel, the figure didn't stop instead he was swung the sword more and more.

"You talented b*tch!"

The sword landed on the table as it spilt the furniture in half, at this moment, Oriel did something that was against the rule of royals, it wasn't swing the sword at his brother.

The voice appeared in Oriel head.

[Genes potentials advanced]

[The strength applied for a period of time]

The blood in Oriel veins started to boiled as his skin was shown blue veins, it was an advancement of genes, Oriel normally he was already stronger than normal people because of his genes, but now he was even stronger around 3 times.

At first the reason why Edith could dodge his attacks because, Edith had practiced in fighting many times, the second reason was Edith focused on improving his genes by training instead Oriel had never done that kind of things, he believed in his power since birth.

Oriel attacks became stronger and faster at the point where Edith could hardly see his attacks, it was almost blurred.

At that moment the cut could be seen on Edith cheek, as the cut was appeared more and more from his body as the attacks was faster and faster.

At this rate he would really die.

Maximus returned from the battlefield at the moment the battle at the boarder ended he quickly left the place and flew to the palace, he had a bad feeling.

The grey vehicle landed in front of the big building as Maximus stepped out of it as he ran towards the palace entrance.

Seeing Felicia walked inside, Maximus called her name.

"Princess!"

Felicia surprised at Maximus behavior as her maid quickly moved in front of her.

"Apologize princess, but where is the third prince?"

Looking at Maximus worried expressions Felicia quickly gave him answer.

"In his room, I guess?"

"Oh.."

"Why, did any thing happen?"

"No, nothing, thank you princess".

Maximus exhaled as he turned to leave.

"Maximus, your clothes.."

"Oh, I forgot about it sorry princess".

Maximus forced a smile as he observed his cloth, the grey battle armor was covered with green and red blood, as the dirt could be seen on it, his feature was now looked terrible.

Felicia giggled at that sight, "You worried about my brother?"

"Well yes, your highness I did".

The two chat for a while before the loud sound could be hear from the Edith room.

The two looked at each other as Maximus ran off with an incredible speed.

He reached the second floor in no time as the sound was louder and louder.

"What happen!?"

Maximus arrived at the big door before he quickly opened it, but it was locked so he used his strength by kicking at it, however the door was very strong and thick, even for him it could take time, but he had no choice.

The voice appeared in his head.

[Gift of the Giant activated]

Maximus muscles was hardened, it was as hard as steel, no harder than steel. With a punch, the door was destroyed, revealed the sight in the room.

There were two figures in the sunset room, one was the second prince with a blood stain on his clothes, he was holding a sharp sword in his hand.

Another figure was the third prince, Edith who was kneeling on the ground with the sword pierced through his torso.

Felicia and the guards arrived behind Maximus as their expressions changed.

A scream echoed through the wide corridor.

Edith found himself in the white place, he had been here before. He looked around but there was nothing before he noticed a white blurry figure sat in front of him.

"Yo, we meet again".

"Hello".

The white figure seemed to be surprised at Edith reaction, "Why you looked so calm?"

Edith laughed as he also sat on the nothingness.

"I died?"

"This place looks like heaven?"

"I don't know, I have never died before so I will be very grateful if you acknowledge me".

"Ha, you are indeed interesting. Look like I made the right choice".

"Choice?"

"Well yeah, you will find out when it come to the right time".

Edith frowned, "Why can't you just tell me?"

"Because it won't fun that way".

Edith sighed, he tired talking with this white figure.

"Fine, I will tell you something".

"The fate of humanity is in your hand".

"Pardon?"

"Ha! No repeating!"

"Now, go back and train hard young man, this is just a beginning".

"What?"

Looking at the white figure smiled, the world around him crumbled down.

Edith opened his eyes and found that he wasn't in his room, it was a medical room in the palace.

He got up as he looked around, Felicia was sleeping beside the bed in a sitting position, Edith smiled as gently he stroked her hair.

Before he noticed a hologram letter on the table beside the bed, Edith reached his hand out to touch it as the letter moved in the air towards his front.

Edith touched the hologram twice, the letter opened itself.

"Edith, this is Maximus, if you can read this it means you didn't die, sorry I couldn't save you. Don't worry about the second prince he was interrogating by royal courts and his majesty, The Great King of Junianus has already acknowledged this incident, rest well my disciple, see you soon".

Edith sighed as he thought the picture of Oriel stabbed a sword through him, before he could use genes advance it was too late.

'I was too weak'

He smiled wryly as the message appeared on his bracelet.

Looked like the king wanted to meet him after he woke up.

Edith looked at his body, there were no cut left, only a light scar on his chest could be seen. The technologies of humanity was indeed very advanced if it wasn't for Pico-healing he would have died, but his cells was well attached it as his injured disappeared.

Felicia woke up as she felt the movement of her brother, she quietly stared at Edith as she started to cry.

"It's okay, don't cry Felicia".

Felicia with a teary eyes leaped to hug Edith as she crying out loud, like she was almost losing something important to her, "It's okay".

Trying to comfort his little sister was hard.

When the morning came, Edith wore his white long sleeves shirt with a black slack as usual, entering the big hall inside the palace.

He bowed to the figure on the throne as he kneeled.

"How are you?"

"I'm very fine, father".

"Is that so?"

Looking at his son, Astedius didn't show any expression only the coldness could be seen from his icy gazes, like they weren't the same family, like staring at stranger. However, Edith was already used to it and he paid no attention.

"My son, will you forgive your brother?"

"Yes, I will forgive him".

He knew, Edith knew very well, his father cared for his brother more than he, he didn't jealous his brother or anything, he didn't care at all maybe that was the reason why it was so easy, to accept his father words.

When his time come, he will make they pay.

"Good".

The king nodded as he looked at the person beside the throne, the king advisor, Alfred.

Alfred walked towards Edith as he handed him a letter, "You may go now".

Edith simply nodded and walked away, looking at his son, the king turned away.

In the letter was an order from his father, Edith need to go another planet to study so he could improve and come back to develop the country but Edith knew it was just an order to make him disappeared from Earth, traveling to other planet was dangerous.

And the letter said that, he must go with a public one, if there was any attack from the invaders, it might be possible that the royal family wanted to eliminate him.

He didn't care.

"The moment when you all lost the track of mine, I will grow stronger and come back, I will find the truth behind my mother's death and I will make you suffer, rotten royal family".
