Going In The Wrong Direction
Back in the Life Fibres cave where Gnihzur regained conscious possession of his body, he was startled by his pristine state and wondered how he survived the monolithic terror shown to him by the shadow beast. Had it not been for Origin's influence then he would have perished for sure with the illusion.
After Gnihzur came too, Origin explained to him as best as he could about what occurred while he had passed out. The Behemoth was no more. It was transmuted into a unique ray called Cosmic Quarks.
Cosmic Quarks could help Gnihzur perceive the invisible serpents more clearly the more of them he acquired, moreover, they could provide a resistance around him that they couldn't easily penetrate. An additional trait of Cosmic Quarks that Origin revealed to Gnihzur was its subtle variation of combining into rarefied substances to create a quasi-Uber Crystal.
