Chapter 2: The Awakening Ceremony
A Boy wearing a Majestic Armor and sword running towards an enormous Beast tide full of Terrifying giant Beast slaughtering his way through the middle of the tide, before transforming in a giant and Powerful Wivern and started smashing the beast like toys with his Claws protecting a City before announcing his name Max Darkwing, before realizing it was just a Dream about his wish to protect everyone, when he suddenly felt a kick to his stomach and hear someone jelling at him to wake up. Before he opened his Eyes and saw his his angry Twin Sister Lily standing above him.
"How can you sleep so long and still want to fulfill your wish to become the most powerful Beastmaster who protects everyone, when you can't even wake up in time to go to your Awakening Ceremony! " she yelled at him while continuously stomping at him. "Okay okay Lily! I heard you just stop stomping at me!" did he yell back at her.
"Just be quick Mom and Dad still want to give us a gift for after the awakening". She said while jumping down from his bed and stepping out of his room, bevor he quickly started to dress up. He started to think about how she can be still be so nervous about the awakening even when both of them turn 18 today and it being almost certain that they're going to awaken the same beast form as their Parents a C+ Potential Wivern ore something even stronger, because it's usually happens when the parents have the same or similar ranked Beast form that their children would inherit the stronger Beast Form or awaken an even stronger one during their awakening, which would almost guarantee us a Potential of at least C+ or better and an a very likely Awakening as a draconic species which are considered to be stronger than others at the same grade. When both the parents have a C+ Graded Wivern form it's a possibility of one to a hundred thousand it being a low Grade awakening and it not being a draconic species, which is why he thinks it is unnecessary to be nervous when their high grade awakening and their acceptance at the Draconis Academy are almost guaranteed.
Finally dressed up, he run down the stairs to the kitchen where his Mother and Sister where already awaiting him.
"Happy Birthday. Come sit down beside your Sister and quickly eat your breakfast your father will be back with your presents any second." said his Mother. Shortly after his mother finished her sentence his father was already walking through the back door of the kitchen behind his mother with one present in each hand and called them to come to him, bevor handing them their present with both of them quickly opening them after thanking their parents. When both shouted in shock about the contend. "F grade Attributles Essence Stones!" when there realized what it was. Because each cost 10.000 Beast coins which is around the monthly earnings of an average Household which is double of what the others Essence stones with an attribute cost because everyone can use them.
Ther Mother explained quickly after seeing their shocked faces:" We both might be crippled since our Beast forms died but we are still able to afford that much with our savings." "They will allow you to quickly stabilize your Realm after awakening no matter what forms you will get." His father added to their mothers sentence from the Hallway: "We should go now that we distributed your presents we don't want you be late to the Ceremony."
After Quickly putting on Shoes and jumping in the Car, they reached the Awakening Hall after a view minutes. After arriving their parents walked them towards the row of people in front of the registration desk, before wishing them good luck and left them hastily and disappeared into the crowd, to still get a good place on the Spectator seats.
After waiting 2 minutes behind their Classmates in the row they reached the Registration desk, where after registering, were given number 25 for his Sister and 26 for him placing them last for today's awakening.
After entering the hall and taking a seat on the shears with their given number on it, where the Administrator already closed the door behind them since everyone beside the wealthy ones of their class where here. The wealthy ones got to undergo the Awakening and choose their academies in private the day before.
After the doors closed, the conversations in the hall immediately gone quiet as four individuals took their seats, on the chairs each symbolizing one of the four Great Academies. These individuals were the representatives of their respective Academies which indicated their standing as core disciples ore above, since if there were anything lower than a core disciple they would not be allowed to represent the Academy's. Shortly after their arrival, a Beastmaster entered the hall from one of the back doors, carrying a sphere made from a hollow stone, which he placed on the pedestal at the center of the room before proceeding to announce the ceremony's procedures.
"When your number is called, please approach the pedestal and place your hands on the stone. As soon as your hand makes contact with the sphere, your first transformation process will take place, allowing you to unlock your System and Cultivation Talent. The information of your awakenings will then be showcased on the monitors above for all to observe. Following there showcasing, the representatives from the Draconis, Skywing, and Guardian Academy's will indicate their interest in you by raising their hands. If none of them choose you, you have the option to join the Horizon Academy or you can directly pursue the career of an casual worker now come here number one"
Max believed that the Beastmaster's speech clearly showed his disapproval towards Horizon Academy. Because the academy accepts students with all kinds of talents who wanted to become Beastmaster, although there have every two month a competition during the first year, where the weakest three students get removed from the academy to at least limit some of the weaker Students to not lose to many resources, but ultimately does the Horizon Academy give the less talented students a chance to fight for a place in the world of Beastmaster. It also seems that it had not escaped the notice of the representant of the Horizon either the hidden meaning in the Beastmaster's words since he is sending his aura towards the Beastmaster to show his dissatisfaction to him, which let the Beastmaster stumble over his own feet.
He didn't even notice that the first person who was called up and was already close to collapsing from his leaking aura which is why he quickly retracted it after noticing it. He himself recognized the person as his perverted classmate Luis Lord the Fatt son of the City Lord which continued to walk towards the stone after taking a few breaths too recover and placed his hands on it, his body started to shake and expand into a two meter long black Panther with shadows waving around its feet and after the transformation let out a loud roar. Applause rang through the hall until one of the representatives of the Academy's raised his arm, it was from the Gardien academy.

Max told his sister: "What an idiot his family is rich enough to have a private ceremony. he's just participating here to impress girls even though each girl in class already told him no! Lily answered "It was already going to be hard to endure him and his confessions at school and now he even tries during the Ceremony with all the beautiful girls on his sight from school, till the transfer to the Academy's." While the two were talking the next few got too go through the awakening, but none of them were anything special with potential only reaching from rank F to rank D- which could all only entered the Horizon academy, besides one with F rank talent with his form of a 50cm long heating lizard, he wanted to continue the work at his parents bakery which are using there heating lizard Transformation to heat up their oven to bake their bread.
After a short while they reached the number 19 , which he recognized as his childhood friend Marie Storm since she was his only good friend at school he had, who not only befriended him to get close to his Beautiful and Popular Sister be it a girl ore a boy. She was the only exception he even considered her family, because their parents are also good friends with each other, since they where one of the view people there saved at the occasion there got crippled, there wanted to repay his Parents but they refused. But there kept visiting during their recovery, in the end there ended up as good friends after their mothers gave birth to us at almost the same time and we started playing together during there visits. He even has a crush on her since a few Year and confessed two years ago by putting a letter into a pendant and gave it together with a note to open it later during her birthday but she never gave him an answer, she did not even come to school for a few weeks before coming back and go through the days as if it never happened so he kept his love for himself.
He still wished her "good luck for her awakening" from the deps of his hearth but didn't notice that she slightly blushed from his word while walking past him.
After Reaching the hollow stone she took a deep breath and made a silent wish to be talented enough to keep up with max in the future since in her mind he is most Talented, being able to easy adapt to each fighting style during class and with his foresight during spar easily beating everyone making him the best fighter in school, creating a big gap between them.
And finally at the moment her finger reached the stone a strong gust of wind swept through the whole hall forcing everyone to close their eyes through the swirling dust before they were able to scout a big blue colored Roc hovering under the roof before it landed back in the middle and Transformed Back into her Humen Form before her results got displayed.

Bevor finally walking through the Door of the Horizon. while max started to remember telling her almost the exact same words a few years back, wondering how his mindset could have changed to his current one.
While everyone where still talking about Maries words, even inspiring one of the last five before his sister with an talent of Grade B was a boy called Callum Spark with an A grade Fire breathing winged Salamander who could have entered the Draconis Academy also entered the Horizon which made the representant of the Horizon give the other Representant a mocking smile because of it.
During it his sister was constantly tapping her feet on the ground out of nervosity until now, where her number was called, where she basically jumped up from her chair and almost run with big steps to the middle where she quickly placed her hands on the hollow stone. A suppressive aura spread from his Sisters Expanding body affecting everyone with an potential of B+ and Below and are below the early stages of the Essence core Formation Realm, when 4 giant wings unfolded and uncovered her 5 meter tall body. And now with her status displayed leaving everyone in disbelief.

After that the Beastmaster needed some time to recover of the shock his sisters talent gave him, because he himself only barely reached a potential of SS- and Cultivation Talent of A+ while coming from the Main City's where he was still considered a great Talent, even though the average talent there is significantly higher than here, the average being Grade A in the City, while the average here is only grade D.

Max confidently approached the center and placed his hands on the stone. Suddenly, his body began to shrink, and in a flash, he found himself lying on top of the hollow stone as a tiny lizard before slipping off and falling to the ground. Only his parents noticed it , as the others burst into laughter upon seeing his talent on the screen. After reverting back to his human form, Max gazed at his results, the light of his dreams dimmed in his eyes after seeing them.

These thoughts astonished him, made him think about how his mindset changed to his current one, only thinking that talent is everything which matter to become strong. His previous thought echoing through his mind again and again, until his dreams sparked again giving him back his will to fight for his dream and let him finally want to know with certain what Maries answer is. Walking with regained confidence into the door of the Horizon, into the waiting room behind the door with only one person still waiting, with the back turned to him but still recognized her as Marie which stood up and turned around after hearing him. She run up to him and asked him exited: "How cool that you also come to the Horizon and since you saw what my transformation was, can you tell me yours!
"yes, it is a Gray colored lizard with grade F- and my talent is the same. And it where your words which stopped me from giving up by letting me remember that I told to you similar words in the past letting me overthink my current mindset which allowed me to regain my confidence to join a academy, but it also bugged my mind again to finally know your answer at my question from two years ago I gave to you at your birthday, I've buried it in the depths of my mind for too long."
