Cap² Beltrán and the Unknown Book.

The man handed Glegory into the arms of the elderly, who decided to raise him as if he were their own family, just like a grandchild. They were poor but kind-hearted, living far away from the city and people, almost in the middle of the forest.

Glegory grew up very quickly. By his first year, he already started speaking very well, and the elderly admired him greatly for his intelligence. By the time he turned two, Glegory was already walking very well, running around everywhere with lots of energy. At the age of two, a couple of events took place.

One day, Beltrán left the house without saying anything to anyone. As dusk approached, he arrived carrying a woman about to give birth in his arms. The woman was in critical condition due to her pregnancy. Beltrán quickly entered the house and headed to his room. He placed the woman on his bed and said to her,

~"You'll be fine here, don't worry anymore. I know it's difficult, but do your best for our child."~

The woman looked at Beltrán, unable to say anything due to the pain she felt. Within seconds, Beltrán's sister and mother arrived without saying a word, quickly rushing to help the woman. Beltrán left the room, leaving everything in the hands of his sister and mother.

After a few hours, Beltrán remained outside, worried. Within a few minutes, he heard the cry of a baby and shouted with joy. He was happy about the birth of his child. Beltrán quickly ran to his room and saw the baby in his sister's arms.

~"Is this your child, Beltrán? Because he's a very beautiful baby. Rejoice, for he was born healthy,"~ Aina said.

Beltrán smiled and took the baby in his arms. He approached his wife, saying,

~"Look, my love, this is our child. Just look at how beautiful he is."~

However, his wife remained as if she couldn't hear him. Beltrán touched his wife and asked if she was okay, but he noticed she had no pulse and wasn't breathing. He quickly handed the baby to his mother and approached his wife, trying to wake her up. However, she still didn't respond or wake up.

Beltrán panicked, shouting at his wife, ~"No...! Don't leave me! We still have a future ahead. You have to see our child grow up. Please, wake up now."~

Tears streaming down his face, Beltrán fell to his knees and embraced his wife, saying,

~"If this is the last time I see you and can touch your skin, then I will stay embracing you until my sadness completely fades away. Until my heart says it doesn't want to see you anymore, I won't stop being here with you."~

Seeing the emotional impact of the woman's death on Beltrán, Aina approached him and consoled him, trying to make him feel better. Beltrán came to his senses and accepted the reality. They decided to cremate the woman's body and keep her ashes in a jar as a tribute to the effort and pain she demonstrated and endured during childbirth.

Three months have passed since that day, and the baby remains healthy and well. Beltrán decides to name his son "Eiden," which means fire, as his mother died during childbirth and was cremated, leaving behind ashes as a lifelong memory. After a month, Aina decides to gather her family because she has something important to share. With everyone assembled, Aina says, "Mother, father, brother, I'm pregnant." This brings joy to the family, and they decide to celebrate. Aina's mother prepares a feast for everyone to enjoy. While they eat, her mother asks Aina, "What about Phaul? Have you received any letters from him? He must be present on the day the baby is born, no matter if he's in the midst of a battle, he has to be here." Aina responds, "Phaul came two months ago and left. He hasn't sent any letters. He said he was heading to a significant war and couldn't miss it." Aina's mother looks at her but doesn't say anything and continues eating. Seven months pass, and Aina's pregnancy belly becomes more noticeable. Her husband still hasn't sent a letter, and she grows increasingly worried. Two months pass, and Aina is in her room screaming and complaining of pain. She is giving birth, and her mother is attending to her. Hours pass until Aina finally gives birth. Her mother smiles and says, "It's a beautiful baby, congratulations, it's a girl." Aina smiles and holds her daughter in her arms, gazing at her.

A month has passed since Aina gave birth, but her husband still hasn't sent any letters, and she is very worried. One day, while they are having a family meal, there's a knock on the door. Aina thinks it's Phaul and eagerly rushes to open the door. However, it's an unfamiliar man who has arrived. He is dressed as a soldier and appears to be a high-ranking officer. Furthermore, he holds a helmet in his hands, the same helmet that Phaul always wore. Aina is confused and doesn't know what it means, so the man asks, "Is Miss Aina here?" Quickly, Aina responds, "It's me." The man replies, "I'm deeply sorry, I bring bad news. Your husband has died in battle. He was a great hero to us. This is his helmet, please take it and keep it as a memento. It's the only thing we could recover of him. I'm sorry."

Aina doesn't know what to do. She takes the helmet and heads to her room crying. The man leaves, and Aina's mother closes the door as Aina screams with the sadness she feels. Time passes, and Aina recovers. She now leads a normal life and decides to name her daughter "Sacha," which means defender of humanity and warrior. She chooses that name as a tribute to the heroism Phaul displayed in battle.

Time goes by, and Glegory is now three years old. He is very intelligent. One day, he asked the elders, "Where are my parents?" They made the difficult decision to lie to him, knowing that it could affect him as he grew up, and they told him, "Glegory, your parents are no longer with us. They can't come to see you; they left this world." But Glegory is innocent and doesn't yet understand everything about the world, so he misinterpreted what they had said and thought his parents had died.

Time passes and Glegory is now three years old, he is very intelligent. One day, he asked the elders:

~"Where are my parents?"~

They made the difficult decision to lie to him, knowing that it could affect him when he grew up, and they told him:

~"Glegory, your parents are no longer with us. They can't come to see you; they left this world."~

But Glegory is innocent and still doesn't know everything about the world, so he misinterpreted what they had said and thought his parents had died.

After the elders told him that, Glegory responded:

~"It's okay, I understand. The only thing that matters to me now is that you, grandparents, are with me and support me. That's why I love you very much."~

The elders were happy to see that Glegory was understanding.

When Glegory turned four years old, the two children of the elders decided to teach him how to train and become a good person. Beltrán, the elders' eldest son, was the first to teach him something and decided to teach him self-defense. But there was a problem: Beltrán didn't know how to fight, as he had never done it before. For that reason, he decided to visit the city in search of someone who could teach Glegory. However, no one decided to help him, so it was getting close to dusk, and he decided to buy some supplies to take home.

He headed to the market and bought everything he needed. Just as he was about to leave, he saw a strange person selling books, so he asked:

~"Excuse me, do you have any books that teach hand-to-hand combat?"~

The strange man looked at him and said:

~"Yes, I have several. What fighting style are you looking for?"~

Beltrán responded:

~"I need a book that teaches hand-to-hand combat. To be honest, I'm not familiar with fighting styles, but I want a book that teaches the best fighting style. Do you have any like that?"~

The strange man replied:

~"Oh, yes, I have a very special one, just what you need."~

The strange man searched his bag and pulled out a rare book that taught an unknown fighting style. Beltrán looked at the book and asked the man:

~"Is this the best book you have?"~

The man responded:

~"Oh, yes, it's the best one I have. There's nothing else like it."~

Beltrán decided to buy the book and asked the man how much it cost.

~"How much is the book?"~

Beltrán asked.

The man replied:

~"Ten gold denarii."~

Beltrán was surprised and asked why it was so expensive. The man explained that it was a unique book, which is why its price was high. Beltrán realized he didn't have enough money and thanked the man before leaving for home.

When he arrived home, Beltrán took out the item he had purchased and realized there was something else in his bag that he hadn't bought. It was the book he couldn't afford. Confused, he decided to return to the market to return it and look for the strange man, but when he arrived, he realized the man was no longer there. Not knowing what to do, Beltrán decided to keep the book and learn from it.

Beltrán decided to teach Glegory the fighting techniques he had learned from the book. He talked to his sister Aina and asked if she also wanted to teach Glegory something. Aina responded positively, and Beltrán suggested that he would teach G

legory four days a week, while Aina would do it for three days. There was a small discussion about who would have more days to teach Glegory, but ultimately Beltrán got four days, and Aina got three.

The next day, it was Aina's turn to teach Glegory. She would teach him survival skills in nature and more languages. Beltrán was happy that his sister would teach Glegory since Aina knew a lot about survival. Moreover, everyone was excited about the future awaiting Glegory, being a child prodigy.
