Nia's POV
"The price," leah started, her words heavy and serious, making me feel like a rock sat on my chest. I glanced at Lucia, hoping for some comfort, but her expression mirrored my growing apprehension. It felt like I was sinking into quicksand, with every word she said pulling me deeper.
"To awaken him," Leah began, her voice slicing through the tense atmosphere, "you will also be placed in a slumber spell. You must find him, help him confront the shadows that lurk within, and bring him back," she explained, her words sending a chill down my spine.
My breath caught in my throat as Leah's revelation sank in, a sense of dread settling over me like a suffocating blanket. "What do you mean by shadows that lurk within?" I managed to squeak out, my voice barely audible. My heart was racing, and I couldn't seem to catch my breath.
