Juan's POV
"We're almost there," Elena said, pointing to the building looming ahead. I squinted, trying to make out the structure from afar. It looked like an abandoned church, its once-grand facade now weathered and worn.
Suddenly, the car jerked to a halt as Omar slammed on the brakes, causing the vehicles behind us to do the same. I frowned, puzzled by the abrupt stop. "Why the sudden halt?" I questioned, turning to Omar for an explanation.
"We can't just barge in like that," Omar replied with a serious tone. "We should blend in and be cautious, tell the others to park far away and wait with the ammunition. What do you think, boss?" he suggested, turning to me for approval.
"That's a good idea," Elena chimed in.
As we stepped out of the car,a wave of anxiety wash over me. The plan was risky, but it was our best chance at uncovering X's secrets and putting an end to his sinister plans.
