Tóm tắt

As time passes, and Ages come and go, history holds firm as the reminder of humanity's story. Stories are passed down, immortalized, and never forgotten. One such story has stood the test of time, and is considered the very first, oldest story ever told... 'Though this history shall soon be forgotten, the Epic of Gilgamesh shall live on forever in my memory, as a sign of who I once was and the sacrifices I had to make.' 'I have learned many things, and have seen even more. I have lived fulfilling lives and accomplished great things. That story has long ended, but my story still remains unwritten!' 'So now, I write my own story! A story of the things unknown to all! The story of Gilgamesh, untold!' *Inspired by the Ancient Mesopotamian 'Epic of Gilgamesh,' and Based off of the work of iKissTurtles (Who I am working with to publish this fantastic take on the age-old character).*

Mono-kouneli and the White Crane

In the Elysian realm, a white-haired little Princess was born in the Land of Sunshia. Despite the fact that the Kingdom of Sunshia had been blessed with a beautiful white-haired baby. The King doesn't even think of her as his daughter. He believed the old legends that if you were blessed with a child with white hair, everyone around her would die. As an outcome, the King makes a hasty and cruel decision for the entire Kingdom. He told the midwife who came when his wife was in labor to throw the baby anywhere or, worse, kill her. But because the Queen knows she gave birth to a girl, they swap the Queen's baby for the slave's baby. While the midwife was about to dispose of the Queen's daughter, some knights started chasing her down. The king intended to get rid of both the Queen's daughter and midwife without mercy. Fortunately, the midwife and the baby were able to flee into another Kingdom with the assistance of a friend. The midwife's rage led to a promise that the only way for her vengeance would be to raise the little Princess and return her to her rightful place. Krahn, as the baby was soon to be known, was raised in the Land of Astrea. A Kingdom without a sun rises above the sky, as does a Prince with Mono-kouneli syndrome, whom she will later meet. Lord of Ardenurve

He was the fiercest warrior of the High Kingdom for he was undefeated in battle. He was the Demon Prince of the High Kingdom, known for his brutality and blood thirst. He was the Ghost of the East for he came and went like the wind, destroying all in his path and no one truly knew the face beneath the mask. He was Lord Rina Arden, the great Lord of Ardenurve. He was supposed to be the man among men, a warrior among warriors, But what was this long hair cascading down his shoulders, what were those alluring eyes gleaming with erotic promise? What was this unearthly beauty? What was this enticing body that stirred my darkest desires? What is a King to do when his god of war turns out to be a goddess? _________________ "To the world I am the High King, but to you Rina...I am just a man burning in my need and desire for you, tell me Rina...what have you done to me?" Turace whispered in a heated tone, his voice thick with desire as he gazed down into those cold, fierce eyes... his own gaze pleading. "The first man who desired me killed my family and every other man after that, I killed with my own hands...I am Lord Rina of Ardenurve My King and I will never be yours." Came the cold response. "Lord Rina... This King has never once failed to get what I want and it just turns out... I want you... your heart, your soul, your body...every last inch of you." Turace vowed, his tone dark and determined. Second book in the Tales of the Continents. **I do not own the cover art. All credits go to the artist. It will be be taken off on request**

As of Chapter 68, our insufferable MC (Gilgamesh) has officially stepped onto the path of cultivation. Did y'all see that coming? I know I didn't, even though I work so closely with the author. iKissTurtles, my good friend, has expressed his desire for me to say a few words about the story so far, and I thought it would be best for me to do so with a review. So, firstly, a message from the author: "Thank you all so much for reading Gilgamesh Untold. This story has been a bit of a problem child for me, heh heh! It has sat around in my brain and tortured me relentlessly, just so I could start working on it. When I did, I consulted some of my friends about what might be an interesting way to work with a character like Gilgamesh. I absolutely had to use Gilgamesh; he has been my favorite mythological figure all my life, and I love seeing adaptations of his character. I decided that I wanted to pay respect to the Epic by starting the story off right where the old stories left off- more or less- and then continue from there. I did my best to pay homage to the Epic while also furthering my own agenda, and provided a conclusion to it all that was ideal for me to truly begin my story. I wanted to make it clear that everything Gilgamesh experienced from the very beginning to now was actually laughably insignificant. Sure, he has loved ones and they are important, but his struggles actually got him next to no where. I wanted it to feel as though it was all for nothing. From this moment on, Gilgamesh Untold begins. Thank you again for taking the time to read it." As the unofficial editor, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart as well. This story means a lot to both of us, and we hope to see it go on to completion. Thank you!
