Strongest Being

<30 SECONDS AGO>

"Prepare to enter the dungeon."

A familiar voice spoke out to a crowd of adventures. The voice belonged to the one and only Kaspian he and 19 other adventures slowly walked up to the dungeon.

When they stepped foot into the dungeon, they all instantly froze in fear as bloodlust crawled up their body, choking them. While that happened inside each of their minds, all they saw was an endless amount of darkness and a pair of huge blood-red eyes staring into their souls.

The bloodlust affected not only the surroundings, but nearly the entire world.

< THE KINGDOM OF ELENOIR>

Currently, inside the castle, the king and queen and the royal guards were all kneeling and struggling to breathe because of the intense bloodlust.

Everything happened the same way as it did to the adventures. The bloodlust was visible to them as it crawled up their bodies and choked them, while inside their minds was the enormous pair of blood-red eyes staring into their souls.

This only lasted a few seconds, but to them, it felt like years went by.

Everyone gasped for air while some dropped dead on the ground.

2 guards rushed to the sides of the king and queen. "Your majesty, are you alright?" The guard said with a worried voice.

"Tes-Tessia, check on Tessia now." The king demanded the guards.

One ran to the room of the princess while the other stayed behind to aid the king and queen.

He opened the door and saw the princess laying on the floor not knowing whether she was dead or alive.

He rushed to her side and saw her breathing.

"What a relief! She's only out cold."

He picked up the princess and laid her down on her bed.

<BACK TO THE BEAST GLADES>

Kaspian looked behind him after the bloodlust ended and what shocked at what he witnessed.

'N-No way 10 adventures dead just by bloodlust that wasn't even directed towards us and those eyes weren't eyes of a human. They resembled a human eye, but they held so much power far surpassing human limits.'

Kaspian's train of thought was broken when an adventure spoke out.

"I-I'm n-not doing this anymore. This is a death wish." He turned around and ran away, leaving a trail of urine behind him.

The other adventures seeing this also left.

"M-Me too. I don't wanna die. I have a kid on the way. I'm sorry."

He ran along with the other adventures. The numbers dwindle down from 20 to 10 to 1, leaving only Kaspian.

'I won't be able to do this alone and I have a gut feeling that the S-Rank mana beast is already dead, and a monster far worse is heading out of the dungeon, so I have to leave now.'

Kaspian got ready to leave when two golden gates popped up in his face.

'What the hell is that?'

Kaspian also saw more appear behind him until it surrounded him completely.

Chains then shot out of them. They wrapped around him until they rendered him incapable of moving.

'What type of magic is this?'

Kaspian had mixed emotions about the current situation he was in.

He was amazed that such magic existed, but he was also afraid since he heard footsteps coming from the dungeon.

'He's here, that monster.'

The louder the footsteps became, the more he shivered in fear. He felt like he could escape from the chains and run away, but he knew he would end up getting caught again and he didn't want to fill himself up with false hope.

Kaspian stared into the dungeon waiting for the man who could kill people with his bloodlust alone.

Staring into the dark cave, a pair of red eyes that would haunt Kaspian for the rest of his life, even in death, started glowing inside the cave as it got closer and closer. Kaspian tried imaging how he looked.

'Someone as strong as him probably looks very intimidating and his mana core color must be white, or maybe it far surpasses white and it's in a stage unknown to humans.'

'Even though ill die, ill be able to witness the strongest being in existence appear in front of me.'

'Here he comes. The strongest man ev- huh are my eyes deceiving me. I-Its just a KID!'
