Chapter 31: home

In the desolate land filled with nothing but the earthen the sky, the sun was hot and the wind blew. Although these winds were not filled with rage, they were still quiet strong. Yet no matter how strong they blew, they failed to cover up the large marks on he earth.

But it was not kuch of a suprise, as these marks were large and could likely fit a person inside. If one was a bird and could see the world from the sky, one would be amazed as these marks stretched for many kilometres. And if one looked at them closely, one would notice that these marks were not naturally formed gorges of the earth. Because these marks seemed like man made marks.

And not very far from these marks, or to be exact, at the very end dog the marks, a large creature could be seen. On a. single glance, one would notice that this creature was more than 100 meters tall. As of current, it squared near the marks with a large object in its hands.

The object looked like a tree trunk that ha just been uprooted. But it would be hard to believe that, as sad tree trunk was a good two to three times bigger than normal.

Holding the large tree trunk as though it was a mere pencil, the large creature continuously dragged the trunk on the earth. Creating new marks on the earth with each stroke.

Of course the creature was not just writing with the tree trunk each time. Sometimes it wiped out what it wrote and rewrote the marks. Because of this, it's arm was very dirty. But that little dirt was only an add on compared to its already dirtied clothes. The once white shirt seemed like it was brown now. And the blue jeans seemed like they have seen better days.

Sweat dripped on its face, but it did not seem to care much for either its sweat or dirt. It was only a little while laer that the gigantic creature suddenly sat on the ground looking tired.

"Finally, 10%!" The creature, no, Zenn said out loud.

He was done. He had completely mastered the first few letters of time knowledge in his head. Saying he was tired would be a bit of an understatement. But although he felt like resting right now, he did not. Because she was anticipating something.

Luckily though that thing did not let him wait. At the moment, a new wave of knowledge appeared in his mind.

"Ahhh..."

As the knowledge appeared, Zenn felt like it was driving into his head instead. He felt he knowledge imprint onto his head. But unlike before it was no mere headache it brought. He felt as if all this knowledge was tattooed on his brain with intention to instill them deeply in his mind such that he could never forget them.

Zenn did not know how long he stayed like that, but when he came to, he stagger up. He felt as though the control on his body was slightly messed up. When he tried to raise his right and, his right food stepped fowards. So for a minute like that, he repetitively staggered and fell. Luckily it was not for long. Zenn soon found himself walking like normal.

With a now clear mind, he was now able to see what the space knowledge truly held.

And when he did, despite his intention to keep a cold front, a smile bloomed on his face.

"I can finally go home." He said weakly.

Yes, the knowledge in his head told him how to exactly get back home. While calming his excited heart, Zenn walked towards the forest not too far away.

After eating a few more bitter fruits, he laid down and rested. He could feel th exhaustion in his head and all his other body parts just from how strong his heart was beating.

But in about an hour or two, he was completely fine. Well, patly fine as his head still somewhat felt bloated.

But it was enough. In his head, he immediately willed th space knowledge in his head to get sorted and decompressed. He re ally is feel different this time. Unlike with the first two sets of knowledge, tho decompression of knowledge felt different. He felt like he was letting in new gallons on water in a an already full tank.

Because of this, his calculative capabilities has been greatly lowered. As such, he took a lot longer to decompose the knowledge.

In his head, letter and words flew into motion. Many converged and some even split into two. These words would seem like unknown scribble to anyone else but Zenn. To him, they contained some much information and so much knowledge. So much that he felt like he could take forever learning it all.

In his mind scape, the letters surrounding the purple space knowledge orb floated and converge. They all fused and formed a large string of letters which flew and surrounded the orb.

It was then at that moment that the knowledge was complete. A new power was was added to his arsenal. A power which brought a wide smile on Zenn's face.

A smile which the two goblins standing atop a tree happened to see. The two were confused. Because for the first time since he appears before their eyes, the lord smiled. And while they were still confused on whether why their lord was smiling, he disappeared...
