Chapter 39

Nah, she certainly could not cross the line with him because she had no experience with that. She would rather avoid that as much as possible because her heart would not allow her to give in easily.

Jennet groaned again as she grabbed a plush pillow and submerged her face onto it, “I don’t know what to do!” she cried. Shortly after that, she lay on the sofa with the plush pillow on her chest and, her eyes roamed the ceiling. Her mind was in a mess and, she felt a slight headache.

After tossing and turning countless times on the sofa, she got up. “I think I should prepare for a tea break.” She went to the kitchen with a muddle head. The time was actually near four pm and, it was unbelievable that time passed by so fast. It was also a cue that she should cool her head with a nice cup of tea.

Ding dong!

Jennet jumped and turned around in alarm. Did she just hear the doorbell ring?

Ding dong!

The doorbell rang again. It was not a mistake.
