Chapter 37

Jennet froze. A request like that never crossed her mind. It was rather childish of him to make a bold request like that. “You are being unreasonable,” she said with a stiff face. Her guard rose steadily.

“It is reasonable,” Hue replied solemnly, “because there is nothing wrong with my reasoning.” He grinned.

Jennet clenched her jaws. She surmised he was the embodiment of pure evil and, there was nowhere she could feel happy about it when she knew he had orchestrated a sneaky scheme to trap her.

“I just met you and, I am not going to kiss you,” she said after summoning her courage to speak up.

Hue tsked and waved his finger, “Uh-uh, you are wrong there, honey. In my calculation that is including today, we have been together for five days,” he raised his brows while grinning, “I was there from the first night.”

“What?” Jennet croaked in shock.

“Yup. You heard me right.” Man, he was so proud to finally reveal that he was with her all the time.
