Jennet felt much livelier and more energetic after her hunger was appeased. She strolled around the villa with Gomi without needing an escort like before. It was all thanks to the socks from Kith that helped ease the discomfort while she walked. Hue wasn't around because he was busy making preparations to welcome their children and he had left the island, to go somewhere.
"So, how long have you been my husband's familiar?" Jennet broke the silence when they were in the garden, admiring the sparkly roses.
Gomi growled softly, and then it grunted. It looked away, hesitant to answer. But, after a while, it turned its head back at her.
"Long enough..." it answered in a low but gentle voice.
"How long?" she asked. 'Long enough' wasn't an answer that could satisfy her curiosity. After all, she was from Reality World who sought absolute answers.
