"Hundred billion?"
Upon hearing Connor's words, Queta's expression turned incredulous. She shook her head with a hint of helplessness and said, "Mr. Connor, if you really plan to secure the land with that price, we'll be losing at least ten billion dollars. Even if the land promises substantial profits, we would still be incurring significant losses..."
"No worries, let's go with a hundred billion," Connor said contentedly.
"But, Mr. Connor..."
Queta seemed concerned.
"No 'buts.' Didn't you already mention it? Even if we secure the land at a hundred billion, we would lose over ten billion. I don't believe any company would be willing to endure such losses just to obtain this land. My goal in acquiring the land isn't solely for profits, so it doesn't matter even if we incur losses," he said in a relaxed tone.
"However, there's still a substantial risk involved," she gently advised.
