Disbelief flickered in Old Master Ding and Talia's eyes. Looking at how stunned they were, Liliana held back from laughing. She knew what made her granduncle and second cousin so perplexed like this.
The three of them gathered in Old Master Ding's study room. The clock had gone past ten-thirty. Cassia and Former Patriarch Ding were already asleep in their respective rooms.
Liliana and Talia sat side by side by Old Master Ding occupied the single couch. They were talking about Deanna's punishment.
"Lili... do you really want to do that?"
