Talia nodded once at Butler Chang who greeted her at the entrance. She had just returned to her family home from the hotel where she briefly met Asher.
Butler Chang oversaw the Ding family mansion. He came from a long line of servant family that dedicated themselves to the Ding family. His father was the previous butler here.
Currently, the old man resided in China to enjoy the last of his golden years. Butler Chang quickly took over the role from his old father.
"Is my grandfather in his room?"
Talia glanced at the wall clock, finding that it was already close to midnight. She walked away from the entrance, tailed by Butler Chang. The hem of her burgundy dress twirled gracefully following the movement of her hip.
"Old Master Ding retires early. He has taken his medicine but, I believe he has yet to fall asleep," reported Butler Chang, his voice imbued with concern.
