Genshin Impact Uncanny Obsession

"I was dead... I should've been! But I was suddenly woken up in another place. Or should I say another world for this one." A breathtaking lady clad in lightning and stunning violet garments appeared before me, easily catching my attention. Her crazed smile is a bit unnerving though... "Darling!" She called out and jumped in my arms. (Excuse me, lady! But who the hell are you?!!!) The MC will be revealed after the prologue. A Millennia of Peace and A Surprising Visitor

(Sasayuri's POV)

I woke up on a bed and an unfamiliar ceiling. Looking to my right, I saw a chair with a sleeping Ei sitting on it. I might be a strategist and not a philosopher, but that doesn't mean I can't understand her feelings. I'm willing to wait for as long as she wants, since it's probably a new thing for a god like her. I'd rather not take advantage of her naivety.

"Good morning Ei. Its such wonderful day today, having a beautiful maiden waiting for me to awaken." I teased her with my usual smirk after seeing her eyes open. It took her a few seconds to register what had happened before blushing. She looked around,, trying to find a way out of the situation. Seeing sparks in her hand, I quickly realized that she had resorted to violence to hide her embarrassment.

"Now, now Ei. Save it for later, my body is too weak right now to tank that." I pleaded with a hurt expression.

"Its your fault for having the time to joke around while injured! And its also your fault for getting heavy injuries in the first place for being so reckless!" shouted the frustrated Ei.

"I'm sorry okay? The situation called for it, and I never planned on fighting Orobashi in the first place. So forgive me please?" I apologized immediately after hearing her worried tone. I saw her expression soften. She was about to say something,, but somebody suddenly came inside the door. Chiyo entered while carrying a tray of food.

"Don't get mad at him Ei! He only got injured after stopping me from my madness. The onis blood got the better of me so its my mistake!" said the sorry oni after bringing me my lunch.

"Don't blame yourself too much Chiyo. I already predicted for something like that to happen, that's why I told you to go ham. I just didnt expect that a weakened god still has that much power." I quickly told my miscalculation to take the blame.

"Anyway, how long have I been sleeping? Where are we? Was Makoto able to save the people of Sangonomiya?" I questioned to change the topic, to try to figure out the situation.

"Its only been a day since the battle. Your tengu blood is not weak enough for you to take long to recover. We are currently in your base in Kannazuka, since Yashiori Island is currently inhabitable." said Ei, answering my question.

"The people of Sangonomiya are fine, and the commanders have been waiting for you with Makoto to wake up to explain the situation." continued Chiyo.

"Then let's go, I have enough strength to do it right now." I stood up from my bed weakly. Ei and Chiyo quickly helped me to walk there.

After walking for a while, we finally arrived. I opened the door to see Makoto and the commanders, Akuou, Mouun and Ayame, sitting in front of each other.

"Good afternoon! Everyone doing good?" I was greeted with a smile, before sitting beside Makoto with Chiyo. Ei already hid in her sister's shadow.

"You really have the gall to say that, Sasayuri? Being the most injured in yesterday's war." said the smiling Makoto with sarcasm.

"You even fought against our god, I still have a long way to go. Whatchu said there, you sparred with your god many times?" said Akuou, before asking me about my final words. I didn't expect him to hear that.

"Yes, but its not like I have a choice since-" I immediately stopped after feeling some sparks behind me.

"You probably have a lot of questions for me, so fire away." I said while looking at the three commanders.

"First, thank you for sparing us and the others." said the priestess Mouun in a grateful tone.

"Don't mind it, its not like I was able to save everyone. You're probably wondering why I did that right?" I asked, with her nodding in response.

"Because that was what your god wanted." I said as they got confused.

"I'll start from the beginning. Your god Orobashi and the whole of Watatsumi island was sentenced by the Celestia for something we don't know." I stated, shocking the trio.

"Orobashi probably noticed your eagerness to get Yashiori Island, for what I assume was fertile land." I told them my guess, in which they only nodded in confirmation.

"Orobashi agreed as he planned to show you the strength of the Raiden Shogun. By sacrificing himself, he was able to show you how strong our god is, while also proving the Sangonomiya people's innocence in his crime to the Celestia. A cunning snake he really was." finishing my understanding of the war, we waited for the frustrated trio to make their move.

"Your majesty Raiden Shogun, its our fault! Please do not punish the people of Sangonomiya!" said their leader Mouun, pleading for forgiveness with their lives.

"You need not worry, for this is a battle between gods. I will not blame the mortals who fought in the war for the sake of Orobashi's final wish. The current Yashiori Island is inhabitable, and impossible for crops to grow. But I will allow your people to go there once it is gone. For now, the shogunate will initiate a trade with Sangonomiya for your needs." said the current Electro Archon with elegance.

I was surprised when Ei told me on the way here what happened, and how she gave the gnosis that she received to Makoto. Seeing Makoto take control of the discussion and the atmosphere immediately becoming cheerful, I left as I felt uncomfortable near the gnosis.

-------------------------------------------------------------

(Ei's POV)

More than a millenia has passed since Sangonomiya's rebellion and the end of The Archon War. A lot has happened, but it was mostly peaceful. The situation between Sangonomiya and the Shogunate has been good. Some people have already started living again on Yashiori Island. Chiyo and Sasayuri left for their own islands, leaving us sisters and Orihime on Narukami Island.

Sasayuri and I got closer but never really took the next step. He has been busy with the new tengus with each generation. I already told him to leave it to someone he can trust like that girl Reizenbou he told me about, or Yoshitsune.

I felt like he was deliberately ignoring me. Maybe he finally noticed that I kept stopping the women that were trying to get close to him.... No, I don't think so, since he was ignoring Makoto more than me. Its probably the gnosis since he always made sure to keep minimal interactions with my sister. I don't know what he was worried about, but I should investigate it someday.

For now, I should visit my sister. She called me, saying we had a visitor from a faraway kingdom. Going inside Makoto's room, I saw a tall handsome man with blonde hair that looked like a knight from some kingdom. The man immediately looked into me after I walked beside my sister.

"My name is Dainsleif, A royal guard from the human kingdom of Khaenri'ah. I am here on behalf of the Eclipse Dynasty to pay respect to the current Electro Archon." the man named Dainsleif introduced himself, and stated his reason for visiting Inazuma.

Khaenri'ah, if I remember correctly, they are a civilization outside of the Seven Archons view. A kingdom built with humans without having a god in the first place. Well, as long as they are not planning something, there is no need to be hostile.

'Make sure to carefully watch your actions Dainsleif, as you are currently in the territory of Inazuma.'

Just a few stuff to help smoothen the Sangonomiya situation later in the canon.

Big timeskip to the next important part. I'll start the next chapter later but don't expect for me to release it later. Do you prefer fight scenes with different perspectives for monologue or 3rd person more? Have Fun!
