Morning rose as the sun's rays beamed down upon Mondstadt. There were sounds of doors opening, shops starting, and most of all.

"Yawn~" David woke up with slight dark markings below his eyes. He didn't have anywhere to sleep last night's since he just came into this world. Not to mention the fact that he is completely broke.

'First to do for today... get money' David thought. He slowly sat up from the bench and stretched his limbs before taking out the adventurers book. He opened to commissions to see there was a commission to hunt 6 pyro slimes for 3000 mora, 10 Primogems, and 50 adventurers experience. David immediately knew what to do next.

"It is time to train!" David had to train to survive. Who knows what the future will hold for him. He needed to at least prepare himself. He then brought up his status board.

"I guess I will train Earth then huh" David said, he then walked towards the front gate before leaving Mondstadt. It still scared David to certain degree when he left the safe walls of Mondstadt.

'Seeing hilichurls in game and in real life are two totally different things' David continued to walk down the path until he reached isolated space.

"This is a good spot" David said, he then took a deep breath before pressing his hand on the ground. He slightly feels the energy the earth contains and slowly connect with it. Slowly but eventually large balls of dirt start to float around David. This continued until there was 15 basket ball sized balls of dirt. David opens his eyes before standing up.

"This is a bit trickier then expected" What David is doing currently is training his control over earth. It was easy to make simple movements and shapes and harden the earth. But control several balls of dirt at the same time was quite taxing. He continues to train his earth control by moving the balls in patterns, gardening them, or adding more balls. This continued for 5 hours straight.

*Grumble~*

"Sigh" David hadn't eaten anything except three sunsettias yesterday. He was gonna need that mora quick. He brought out the adventurers book again and located the pyro slimes location. In David's delight it was quite close to his current location. He quickly ran over in his slightly exhausted state. in just 5 minutes he arrived at the location. There was what appeared to be 6 balls of burning magma that were moving around.

"Welp, time for my first battle" David said. He approached cautiously, he prepared his mind for any attack the slimes could give. When he reached 4 meters away from the slimes he unleashed his attacks. He quickly made 3 balls of dirt and formed them into a shape of a drill. The drills started spinning rapidly as David then laughed them towards the slimes. The slimes couldn't even react as 3 of their brethren died instantly.

The three remaining slimes burned brighter as they rush towards David. This caused him to fire three more drills. Two of them hit killing two slimes but one dodged. The slimes was only 1 meters away now from David. Just as the slimes was about to strike and earth wall blocked his path. There was a loud thud against the hardened earth wall. The pyro slimes was. stunned from the impact allowing David to prepare another dirt drill. This it hit the slimes body. The slimes then combust leaving behind a shiny somewhat solid liquid. David then picked up the slimes before checking his book of Adventurers.

"Yes!" David yelled in excitement. He finally got some money through an actual legal job. He was slightly shocked at how easy the slimes were to defeat. Since hilichurls are only slightly stronger than these slimes, David should be able to defeat them.

"What level am I?" David said as he pulled up his status screen.

"Wait that was only level 8!?!?" David yelled in a shocked tone.

'I know that there is way stronger hilichurls elsewhere but if level 8 is enough to kill a medium sized group of slimes... will level 15 or 17 allow me to kill a Mitachurl easily?' David asked himself.

"And if I get so strong in the early levels... will level 100 allow be to match or be even stronger then the Geo archon Zhongli!?!" David smiled in realization. He was gonna train alot harder now then ever befor-.

*Grumble~*

"Change of plans, eat first" David then ran back toward Mondstadt in a hurried manner. When approached the gate he pulled out his certificate in preparation.

"Halt" A guard said, it was a different guard then yesterday. David quickly gave him his certificate which the guard inspects in a professional way. The guard then nodded and gave them certificate back to David.

"You may pass" The guard said in a indifferent tone. David took the certificate and ran to the front desk of the adventurers guild.

"I would like to receive the reward from my commission" David said, Katherine nodded before taking out a small sack.

"Here is the mission reward, 3000 mora and 10 Primogems" Katherine said in an robotic tone. David thanked Katherine as he took the rewards and walked away. He walked up the multiple widely separated stairs before reaching a nearby restaurant.

"Hello! Welcome to Good Hunter! Are you interested in our cuisines?" The woman meaning the desk said. David nodded causing the women to smile.

"Here is our menu" The woman passes David a piece of paper. David then selects the most appealing meal.

"I'll get a Sticky Honey Roast" David ordered, the woman nodded.

"That will be 900 mora" David then picked out 900 mora from his 'hard' earned money bag. He then passes it to the woman who takes the mora.

"Your order will be ready in 15 minutes" The woman then starts to get ingredients. David then sat down on the table nearby.

'Hopefully it is good as they say in-game'

A/N: I know you can't buy sticky honey Roast at good Hunter in the actual game but this is a fanfic so I don't care. Besides you share a meal with Lisa and she gets a salad even though there is no salad on the menu.
