A/N: I know last chapter was a bit forced so I'll try to go slow this time.
Enjoy the story.
A/N: Um... I am just adding this in because why not. I wrote the entire chapter already before but apparently when I left the chapter editing, half of the writing was gone. To be honest I am kinda glad since it the writing was better than before. Enjoy the story

"A newcomer?" The blond haired said. She stood up from her seat and walked towards David.
"You may leave" The Knight gave a salute and left the room.
"Hello there newcomer, I am Jean, Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius" Jean said. She went back to he table and pulled out a sheet of paper.
"I am pretty busy today so let's make this quick" David nodded as Jean picks up a feather pen.
"Name?"
"David"
"Last name?"
"none"
"Age?"
"19"
"Place of birth?"
"South Korea"
"Occupation?"
"Traveler, or soon to be traveler"
"Ok then the certificate has been made" Jean said as she passes me the piece of paper.
"This will cost 100 mora"
"hah?"
"You don't have mora do you?" Jean asks, David shook his head. Jean sighed as she thinks of a solution.
"In order to pay the cost, you will need to answer some questions with your upmost honesty" David nodded his head in slight seriousness
"Where is South Korea? In my knowledge there is no village or city named South Korea?" Jean asks.
"South Korea isn't a village or a city. It's a country beyond the seven archons" Jeans raised an eyebrow at this response.
"A country out of the seven archons? not unheard of of... but uncommon" Jean said.
"So since there is a south Korea, is there a north, east, and west as well?" Jean asks.
"Yes but only North Korea" David replied.
"Ok then that's all the questions now, also if your gonna be an adventurer the adventurers guild is near the entrance of the city" Jean said.
"You can pass this to the lady nextdoor to receive a forged certificate"
"Thank you" David said as he walked out the room. He then went through the wooden door next to the previous door he left. Inside it looked almost exactly the same but a different table and no bookshelf's to be seen. The person who was sitting on the table was a women dressed in a 1800s style tunic.
"How may I help you?" The woman asked. David handed her his certificate sheet. The woman nodded and inspected the sheet before opening a drawer. She then pulled out a metal sized card twice the size of a poker card. She then pulled out what appears to be a metal pen before it goes up in flames. David jumped back in surprise before he finds a pyro vision hanging from the woman's side. The women then writes on the metal card making slight smoke to rise up in the air.
"There, all you information is recorded on this card. You just need to show the guards this pass so you can enter the city freely" The woman said.
"Thank you" David said, however he was ignored as the woman started reading a book next to her. David left the room and exited the guild of Favonius. He excitedly inspected the metal card. The card record all the information he told Jean along with a red stamp that had the mark of the Knights of Favonius.
"Welp time to be an adventurer!" David yelled. He excitedly ran down the sets of stairs and down the main plaza. He then reached the gate of the city and saw a oh so familiar receptionist nearby. He then quickly ran up to her.
"Hello! Is this the adventurers guild?" David asks, the receptionist nodded.
"Ad Astra Abyssosque, welcome to the Adventurers guild. My name is Katherine" Katherine said.
"I came to sign up as an adventurer" Katherine then nodded and extended out here hand.
"Certificate please" Katherine asks. David then gave Katherine the certificate he just received in his hands. Katherine inspects the certificate before stamping it leaving a green stamp with the adventurer symbol.
"You are officially considered an adventurer of Mondstadt. Here are the tools you will need" Katherine said. She then reached under the desk and pulled out a very thin book. Katherine then handed the book and certificate to David.
"This is the adventurers book, it is a ever constant changing book that will give out daily commissions, up to date bounties/enemies, and more" Katherine continued. David nodded in response. He opened the book to find that there were only four pages, each one having a different colored bookmarks mark. There was Experience, Commissions, Domains, and Enemies.
"Once you complete a mission or a commission you can receive your reward by the nearest adventurers guild" Katherine said. David continued the inspect the book and found out that you can scroll up and down like an ipad to reveal more information. He then closed the book and faced Katherine again.
"Thank you" David said, Katherine just nodded her head. David then turned around and walked towards the plaza. He then spots and oddly convenient bench to sit on. He sat down and stared at the adventurers book in his hands.
'I can't believe I'm... here' David thought, from the beginning when he entered this world he felt so... free. In his old world at the age of 5 he trained under his adopted dad Olaf. All he could do for fun was play on stolen phones Olaf allowed him to keep. It felt so surreal being around characters that he played with in the game. He could almost not believe what's happening currently. Like all of this he just experienced... was a dream.
"Hehehe" David laughed. Finally he was released from the shackles of society. No longer will he have to steal for a living. With his system he will grow stronger than he could ever imagine
"I think... I am gonna enjoy this adventure"
