The calling of power (1)

It is a new day. Everyone was wide awake except for Dennis. But he wasn't alone. He had Dj on his side watching over him. Trying to think of a method of explaining it to everyone.

"Only your hands and feet are burnt... The tail didn't set your back on fire, so that's good. Now to explain this to everyone..."

Dj said to himself. He checked Dennis before heading out to explain it to everyone. Before Dj could go out. The door to the simulation opened. It caught Dj by surprise and he grabbed the chair to use it as a weapon.

"Who goes there?!"

Dj asked.

"Hey calm down!! It's me, Mora!!"

Mora then came out from the simulation and was wearing casual clothing. She was wearing a light purple tank top with blue short jeans. Dj placed the chair down, then turned around to focus on his dilemma.

"Has he woken up?"

"No... He's asleep. I need to bring Lota here for a few reasons."

Dj said to Mora. When Dj got out of the room. He ended in a hallway and saw that the guys were having a conversation. The first person to notice Dj was Dwight. He waved his hand, showing Dj to go to them.

"Hey Dj, what happened last night?"

Dwight asked. Dj then took a deep breath and explained everything that happened. While Dj was talking. Lota showed up with a medical kit and entered the simulation room. When she entered, she saw Mora using the computer and Dennis still sleeping on the bed.

"Hmm? Who are you?"

Lota asked. Mora then turned around and saw Lota putting on her nursing uniform.

"Oh, my name is Mora. You must be Lota, right?"

Mora asked. Lota then nodded and realized that her uniform was a bit too big for her body.

"Let me help you with that."

Mora said. She grabbed Lota by her arm and took her into the simulation to do something quickly. Moments later, Mora comebacks and waits for Lota outside the simulation to find out that Dennis was barely waking up.

"Oh, good morning Dennis. How're your burns doing?"

"If I have to describe it... my parents would have grounded me right now..."

Dennis said to Mora. He saw his hands while staying on the bed and remembered the sensation of his flames. It made him close his fist and curl himself.

"Speaking of parents... Shouldn't you be looking for yours?"

"Technically, yes... But I think my blood family is missing. The same goes for my friends and if we wanted them back. We would have done it by now."

Dennis said to Mora. Suddenly, the door then opened. They saw Dj came in with Dwight.

"Hey, Dennis. How are you feeling?"

Dwight asked. Dennis then showed Dwight the burn marks on his hands.

"Oof... We should bring you to a hospital."

"I'm good. Going to a medic would turn me into their test subject."

Dennis said to Dwight. He then positioned himself as if he was sitting on the bed with his legs crossed.

"Why?"

"First, I died and came back to life. Second, I am a prime suspect. Three, they would use anything that I would say to defend me and all of you against us."

Dennis was proving his point. Calling back from the video went viral in the other world. They would become suspects of the incident. Dwight didn't deny it, but he agreed to what Dennis said is true.

"Then let's fight back. Just trains us right here and now and we will start kicking some ass."

Dwight said to Dennis. Dennis then thought of it as a wonderful opportunity then Lota came out of the simulation dressed as a doctor. When she got out, she noticed Dennis was wide awake and looked at his burn injuries from her position.

"That's a level three burn degree... This should heal fast with proper treatment."

Lota said to Dennis. Her voice was calm and composed, which made everyone feel at ease. She then treated Dennis's hands and feet. Once she was over, she examined Dennis's left eye for her research.

"Your burns should heal in about a week, so no more fire magic. Also, your eye seems to have developed something strange... Like a mark..."

Lota said. She wasn't able to tell the shape, but she could see that something was forming on the iris.

"Thanks, Lota. Now... Dwight, if you want to fight back, then you're going to have to train with my weapon..."

Dennis said. He then snapped his left fingers and the door to the simulation opened.

"Dj, you're in charge. Bring Owen and Donte on a scout mission for any nests."

"Got it."

Dj said. He then went out and gathered Owen and Donte to head out while Dennis and Dwight entered the simulation.

"Well, there goes the boys... You should keep an eye out on him."

Mora said to Lota.

"Don't worry. If something happens in there, I'll let you know."

Lota then went to hug Mora, and she didn't know how to react. She awkwardly hugged Lota for a few seconds and let go. Letting her enter the simulation with no escort.

Inside the simulation. Dennis and Dwight found themselves at the destroyed house. The only thing that stayed was black flames.

"What in the world happened here?"

Dwight asked. He then turned over to Dennis and saw him looking at the flames to remember what happened.

"Well... Last time that we were here... Things got a bit out of hand... And this place has enemies lingering around."

Dennis said to Dwight. He sensed about three powerful entities in the distance to the city in the simulation.

"So who did this?"

"That was me. I could use black fire for the first time to escape."

"Okay then, can we get started?"

Dwight asked Dennis. He called was ready to call out his weapon and waited for Dennis to call out his.

"Alright then... Obliviona!!"

As Dennis called out his weapon's name. Obliviona materialized herself in her human body. She was wearing a light gray coat that covered her entire body from exposure.

"Wow, I didn't know your weapon can do that!"

Dwight said while being excited. Dennis then sat down on the ground with his legs crossed while letting Obliviona take care of the rest.

"Obliviona, can you train my friend for a bit? I would do it myself... But I am in no good condition for a fight."

Dennis said. Obliviona then turned around and saw Dennis's hands and feet covered with bandages.

"Okay, but in return... Let me be like this for the rest of this month."

Obliviona said to Dennis.

"It's fine by me. I won't be able to fight for a while, so I'll stay here to recover..."

Dennis said to Obliviona. He then called in a virtual panel to see if he can improve the area while Dwight trains. With one press on the screen, every tree changed into walls to avoid major destruction.

"Now give it your all!!"

Once they heard Dennis, they went into a stare-down. Obliviona was the first to act. She then called out her sword and pointed it out at Dwight.
