But maybe she had a plan "It only takes one person to buy fruits" Theen said in his morning voice,

"That's true but I want Josh to see our world" Melane said.

Theen just continued eating because he wasn't in the mood to argue, Josh on the other hand was scared Theen was obviously a crazy person who had no chill at all but, Josh was going to have to live with him so might as well get to know him.

After breakfast everyone went back to there rooms, Theen and Josh were in there rooms getting ready, Acacia rudely walked into Josh's room and closed the door "you are in deep shit"

She said with a laugh,

"No I'm not I'm just going to the store with my brother" Josh's voice was fake and shakey because he was scared

"Oh please I didn't need magic to tell me that you were about to piss yourself"

"Was it that obvious" he said

"It was even the skeletal Butlers saw it and they don't have eyes" she said

"What do I do if he gets mad" Josh said

"Here take this" Acacia said while passing him a spray bottle,

"Bear spray?" Josh began saying "isn't this too much?"

"Not if you want to survive"

"Hurry up" Theen's voice echoed through the halls.

Josh took the spray and ran downstairs there everyone said bye and Melane closed the door,

"Are you trying to kill Josh this is his second day here and your already leaving him alone with Theen, you know he'll die"

Paylah said

"No, something will happen I know it but it won't end with Josh dying"

"Whatever you say Ms. Queen of the ghouls"

Acacia said.

Theen and Josh took the bus to the mall, Josh was amazed the city looked like any normal city did but the people looked weird so people looked like normal humans but other looked like rotting corpses some people were blue and green and rainbow colored and some people Had wings like birds and scales like fish. But Josh didn't say anything he was too scared he just followed Theen into the store to get fruit

"You've probably noticed by now that not everyone looks normal"

Theen began to say

"Yeah I understand when I first saw weirdos like his I was pretty scared too"

The word "too" echoed through Josh's mind

because Theen saying "Too" implies that he can scenes that he's scared.

"Yeah it's a little overwhelming" Josh said in a bady voice,

"Everyone who lives here is a monster like us" Theen began saying

"witches, wizards, Phoenixs, Harpies everything every monster you've ever heard of lives here it can be scary"

"What is this place exactly?" Josh said

"This is first nations treaty that never had first Nationals in it, treaty 10" he began saying "Canada has been a place for ghouls for years the first nations worshipped us like Gods the Greek did the same. The ghoul is a prehistoric race that was existed since the beginning of time but the government has just kept it a secret."

"So does that mean that every mythical tale is real" Josh said in a little kid voice

"Well not every tale but lots are" Theen said.

Josh was surprised to be getting along so well with Theen

"Do you want anything our family is rich so don't hold back"

"What?" Josh was surprised to be asked something like that from Theen "Ummm... I want candy" Josh said

"That's it just candy not a phone or a TV or clothes, you can buy anything in this store" Theen said

Josh looked up at him with little kids eyes "Really?" Josh said "Ofc" Theen replied.

It had been 3 hours now

And everyone was still at the front waiting for the boys to return,

"Do you think Theen at him by now" Paylah said

"No I think Theen sold him" Perkus said

"Stop it" Melane said nothing will happen.

Back at the mall Josh was having so much fun he just asked Theen for something he saw and Theen just swiped his little card to get it,

"Can we watch a movie " Josh said in his bady voice

"Sure" Theen said.

Theen had been relaxed this whole time there was something about seeing Josh happy that pleased him and it made his stomach warm.

After being gone for about 5 hours the 2 boys returned to the house, Josh was in a huge furry expensive black coat with gold sunglasses and beautiful shoes he looked like a model in everything he was wearing but Theen was carrying 12 huge bags of clothes technology and candy and one bag of fruits.

"Today was amazing we bought so much and watched a movie" Josh said.
