The downside of travelling lightly will be that they need to find food along the place of travel. Meaning that aside from walking along the place of travel, the lightly travel one also needs to find food along the trail that they are walking.

They need to find an extra time to keep themselves fed. That if they find food, if they cannot find anything to eat, they will lose energy over time. Then death will claim them whether by hunger or by kabane.

If they are someone that travels heavily, they can always remove the need to find food on the way. Thus reducing themselves from dying from hunger when their luck is not that good.

The problem will be when they encounter kabane. The speed they can use to run will be largely reduced and death by kabane will be most likely.

Not only that, most of the modern people will not be able to carry huge baggage with them.

We do not have that much muscle to use in carrying as most people live with the convenience of modern mode of transport.

Balance it.

We will die mostly because most of us do not have survival skills especially most of the people that always play social media.

They do not have any knowledge of how. They know it exists, how it is mostly beyond them.

Except the survivalist and gym bro that mostly will survive if they are just careful. The most probably that can live for modern people will be gamers as most of them include survival, puzzle and chess enthusiastic as they always use their brain, the last one that is gonna be able to survive is the people who do not live in the city.

Others will mostly be dead.

This is not like the modern world where everything is there and you only need to know how to use it.

The place that they live right now was the place that can be said in the age before modernization.

This is where there are no factories present, it means that outside of the place of establishment that humans are still alive today.

Most of the places stuck in the age of old where samurai and horses were used as a means of travel. An age where no gun existed at that time.

When kabane rises then the age of industrialism begins and that only in the enclosed space where humans are still living.

Most of the participants can be said to be the same as him. Flung outside of the place where humans are still alive.

Only a few of the participants are able to land inside the wall where humans are still alive. The other needs to fight or try to find a way to survive.

The people inside the wall do not have to worry whether they have inventory or not, but for the people outside it can be seen as a massive boon.

If the rate for their survival is only 10% to 20% before now the rate of their survival rises to 50% to 60%. It can be said this help that they get is a massive boon and can save life for them.

Not enough to prevent harm to them when travelling but it is able to help them in travelling easier and not worry about anything that they want to bring with them.

Now they do not need to worry about how to take their luggage and worry whether they need to stay or move on from the place that they stay.
