"Then I'll see you later at home Adad."
I nodded towards Tasha who was walking up the small stairs towards the carriage entrance.
Traka - Traka.
Which proceeded down the road, until it reached a bridge over which it was lost in the distance.
I took my eyes off the distance where it was lost and turned them behind me.
The huge metal tubes that formed the enormous school gate were firmly closed.
Running my hands through the pipes which bounced, I walked the same path as the carriage.
Today was Saturday.
Normally I would use this day to train with Lou.
But today, both I and Tasha had left the school dormitory.
This was due to a call from Keith.
We weren't told why, but it was most likely something important.
And I had an idea of what it might be about.
By my calculations at this point in the game the story would be about to pass the student president election arc.
And in the middle of that arc a little event happens that is only mentioned a little bit.
The 53rd birthday party of the devious king of the kingdom of Aren.
Joud Lazuli.
In this party, it would be in which would be announced the one who would be elected as the crown prince of this nation.
That was the first of the 2 sons of the king.
Silas Lazuli.
Thanks to the support of the Duke of Haibear and some of the other nobles, he became the heir to the throne.
In the game this event is the beginning for Emilia to decide to enter politics and gain strength as she realizes the problems that will bring when it is discovered that she is an illegitimate daughter of the King.
Thanks to this event the plot develops and shows the main villains of the game.
The two princes along with Avas Blackgrey, fiancée of the second prince and the one that would be a key piece in the story.
Thud.
My thoughts were cut off when my shoulder hit someone, pushing them a few steps.
I walked over to the woman who was gathering a long, scepter-like stick and helped her.
"Thank you, I should have taken a better look at the path I'm really sorry."
The woman said, as she bowed again and again.
After accepting her apology the woman raised her head and stood in shock for a few moments which I took the opportunity to look at her strange clothes.
A white one-piece, layered dress that reached down to her feet and covered her entire body, plus a bluish-white necklace that adorned her neck along with her gray hair made her look like a piece of polished quartz.
Seeming to have noticed she stared at me for a while the woman who deduced she was a priestess, walked away a few steps with a red face.
"Sorry I was on my way to the church of the goddess Necar so I have to leave quickly."
As I watched the priestess woman walk away, I remembered that I had never taken a good look at a church in this world.
Gods unlike on earth were a fact of life.
On earth it was normal to see people who did not believe in them or rather it was rare to see any fervent worshippers of them.
But in this world everyone had their own gods and whether it was because of your race or because of the way you were and the teachings of a god.
The god system I had learned so far could not help but remind me of the one used by the Norse in ancient times on earth.
Where everyone chose their favorite god or served the one they liked best.
As I was flooded with thoughts and memories of the gods of the land I had managed to reach the priestess who was surprised.
"Take me towards the church."
I said as I urged the woman to follow.
On the way to the church I managed to ask some questions to the priestess who gladly answered.
According to what she said the goddess Necar was the goddess of Water and the skies as well as an incredible water mage capable of raising the seas with her spells.
Also apparently this was the most worshipped goddess in the kingdom of Aren by far since this was a country full of water in which since ancient times people prayed for the control of water to the goddess.
While the priestess continued telling me things about the history of the church and some curiosities about it, we passed by a wall guarded by two knights dressed in black and blue.
When they saw the priestess, they hurried in their work and opened two huge blue wooden doors, allowing us to pass.
"This is the back garden of the church which is called the Blue Garden."
He said as he led me down a small white stone path through the literal blue garden.
Thousands of flowers in different shades of blue adorned the ground which was walked and watered by small streams and brooks, which came to small water holes and then continued on their way.
After a few minutes of walking we finally got to see the silhouette of the huge church that was covered by the blue flowering trees on the road.
By the time I managed to see it in its entirety I could not help but admire it.
It was amazing.
Four huge pillars finely carved in lapis lazuli and different blue materials, in addition to gigantic walls of pure white like marble were the colors that most called the intention.
In addition, on each wall two windows separated by about 3 meters stole the view thanks to their purple lilac color.
The finely carved ceilings with protruding figures stood out as they were made in the shape of a point.
The four pointed domes were placed following the cardinal points one in front of the other leaving a space in between.
This space was occupied by the largest and most beautiful pointed dome, which at its tip had a statue of a woman spraying water, with thousands of aquatic animals at her feet.
The view of the church in front of me could not help but overlap with that of the cathedral of Santa Eulalia in Barcelona, Spain.
We continued walking along the path that was now made of shiny white or bluish marble.
In a short time we arrived at the arched entrance made of blue brick and passed into the main worship hall.
We had come into it from the back side so we came out right next to a small platform that rose 3 feet above the level of the rest of the floor.
Like the churches on earth a large dome with a radius of about 5 meters adorned the ceiling.
The dome was filled with drawings that seemed to tell a story that started on the left side and ended in the center of the waviest part of the dome.
Perhaps because of the time or because it was the church of the main god in this realm the place was full of worshippers.
My actions of curiosity generated a good image in the priestess which led me to a door on the right side.
As I passed through there were 10 statues each different from the others but all radiating a sacred aura.
The sensation of being among the strange statues was something strange, maybe because for the first time I felt a little of the power of the gods.
The particles left in the air that could only be controlled by the Healers.
"You can stay as long as you like looking at the statues of the ten gods."
Said the priestess as she left the room with a smile.
I heeded her words and walked over to the statues and checked them out along with the signs on them.
Which read like this.
-Sign 1- God of the earth Nartic.
-Sign 2- Goddess of nature Evergreen.
-Sign 3- God of fire Val.
-Sign 4- God of destruction Apocalypse.
-Sign 5- God of wind Blizzard.
-Sign 6- Goddess of light Sonne.
-Sign 7- God of darkness Mon.
-Sign 8- Goddess of water Necar.
-Sign 9- God of mana Wee.
-Sign 10- Life and death Mictlan.
Of all the last one was the most interesting, unlike the others his gender was not defined since his body was carved with both male and female proportions and his face was flat and featureless.
I continued to observe the room looking for something besides the statues but unfortunately there was nothing else.
With nothing else to do I headed towards the exit thinking about some things about the King's party and grabbed the door handle.
Chii-
Tra, tra - Plaf.
Just as I was about to open the door the sound of small things banging echoed in the room and made me stop in my tracks.
TRAKA.
Soon the sound of more stones falling became constant and forced me to turn around slowly.
But to my surprise there was nothing....
"At last we meet... Adad."
A soft voice called out to me in the distance.
Thud.
But before I could answer an immense pressure flooded me causing me to fall to my knees on my two feet.
Slowly I felt the air escape from my lungs and my body lost all strength.
-HuuuAAaa~
-HuuAAAAaa~
I tried to exhale to fill my lungs with air, but it only resulted in an attempt at a breath coming out of my mouth.
I felt my consciousness fade away and I didn't even have a chance to regret this miserable death.
My eyelids were losing strength causing them to gradually close until my sight was filled with that familiar black that I saw when I jumped off the railing onto the ground.
-Haaaaa~
The sound of breathing echoed inside the dark place that soon became brighter and brighter.
-Kuhum.
I tightened my throat and forced it to hold as much air as possible inside me.
With my strength that had returned unexpectedly fast, I looked up along with my body.
But before I could see where I was a blinding white light made me close my eyes.
"Adad. Open your eyes."
Before I could even think of anything my eyes opened as if I was hypnotized and locked onto the source of the voice.
"You look better after all than you did before the promise."
Said the woman the voice came from.
There was no way to describe her without putting the word beautiful in her mouth.
Fine and beautifully carved features, along with a pair of bright but pupil-less sky blue eyes that had the same tome as her hair that was straight plus it was so long and trailed to the floor.
My control over myself returned the moment I realized that the place I was in was no longer the room of the statues but a rather strange one....
It was like an infinite white plane, which seemed to stretch at the boundaries that warped giving a sense of dizziness where the only thing there was a beautiful and finely carved tall throne of king blue with light blue stones.
"You what are you and what do you mean by promise?".
I said as I tried to look the woman in the eyes.
"In truth you are... the same as him but in a certain way different, not only are you more similar to me, but you are not as dumb as him".
The woman answered without clarifying my doubts, only increasing them.
But while I was listening to her mumbling my brain started to work and soon my doubts and questions were settling in my head.
The first thing I had to do was to activate Ice Heart.
I concentrated my consciousness on my core and thought about activating my ability but nothing happened or rather nothing good happened.
An unbelievable feeling of dizziness came over me.
"You can't use mana here after all I am a goddess as you said before and the place where you are is my world."
At the sound of the woman's words the white world changed and turned blue and filled with water, it was as if we were in the middle of a vast sea.
"And I am the one you as Necar and you are here to talk about a few things."
