Game of lust: Crown Prince's maid

[WARNING: SLOW BURN] Alora decides to be the first one to use the time machine, but what she doesn't know is that her life is going to be changed for the better, or is it? She was living a happy life with her friends and other important figures in her life. Life seemed normal. Two pretty and supporting besties who are ready to sacrifice their lives for her. Their parents love her as their own. The perfect employer who loves her like her grandchild. A bunch of crazy professors. But everything changes one day, doesn't it? [Volume one] "What are you both doing in my library?" A deep voice echoed in the library. For a second, Alora thought that the birds stopped chirping and the lights dimmed down. She started feeling cold in the presence of the crown prince yet a tint of warmth always stayed there. He gave her mixed feelings. She wasn't scared of him, but she wasn't the most comfortable around him either, yet she wasn't uncomfortable too. He looked so cold, scaring her yet she wasn't scared. A tint of warmth around him always stayed making the bottom of her belly fill up with warmth. She wants to do nothing with him yet at the same time, she wants to taste his irritated, defeated flavor on her tongue. She wants to run away from him, from the feelings he was making her feel yet at the same time, she wants to break the walls that he has built around himself. His eyes weren't shiny and full of life, they were rather cold and dead. Opposite of the first prince who looked full of life. The crown prince was like a devil. He was devilishly handsome, cold yet soothing like music, and seductive as a seducer. All of these without even trying to. - "Stop me before I end up doing something we both will regret," his breath falls on her lips. "We both are already burning. What worse can happen?" He had everything under his control, his power and emotions. Then, she came along. An average-looking girl who was a mixture of mature and childish. His constant blank look started bothering her. She wanted to get under his skin to pass her time, but what she didn't know was that she was playing with the thunderstorm. But she was ready to get burned. [Volume two] "Why are you doing this to me? I know you love me, and you know I love you, so why?" "Love isn't always enough. Move on. I don't love you anymore." With this, he broke her and his heart. - "The writers were wrong when they wrote; he's haIf of my soul for he can never be haIf of my soul because he's my soul. He's the one who fills me up with joy, the reason behind my childlike giggles, my rainbow after a heavy shower, my love." " I loved you,I love you and I am always going to love you. But I will never take you back." "I wish I could take away your pain and die a hundred deaths before let pain touch you again but how big of a coward I am for thinking like this when I am the reason behind your pain." The book is set in both historical and modern eras. Discord: modestbaddie#4732 The picture doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the rightful owner. I just edited it.

18th century

"Alora? Where's her voice coming from?" Everyone started looking here and there when their eyes fall on Professor Mia's bag.

Sarah quickly grabbed the bag, only to find another walkie-talkie inside of it.

"Alora? Are you listening to us?" Sarah said with tears beaming in her eyes.

"Yes, I am. I think I am in the wrong era. The room looks so beautiful yet from the 18th century's style. Maybe I am in a movie set," Alora chuckled.

"No, you are in the 18th century. Right after you leave the whole laboratory blown up," Sarah said wiping her tears.

"Oh my sweet god, Are you guys ok? Are you fine, Sarah?" Panic was clear in Alora's voice.

"Would you please stop? You are the one in danger yet you are worried about us. Where's your self-love, huh? Why can't you learn to be a little selfish," Sarah cried out, sobs leaving her mouth.

"Are you crying, Sarah? Don't cry. It's no big deal. Somewhere in my heart, I wanted to visit the 18th century but then thought maybe I will visit it next time. God was feeling too generous. Hence, he decided to listen to that hidden voice inside of me. I am perfectly fine. Don't worry," Alora softly said.

Sarah nodded her head like a child but then realized that Alora can't see her.

"If you face any trouble then remember to fight back. Don't let anyone or anything hold you back. We aren't there to fight for you, you have to put yourself first. You have to take care of yourself till we find you again. Promise to take care of yourself," Sarah demanded.

"At the same time, you managed to sound like both a child and an adult. A childish voice with words of adults. Seems like you have grown older in just a few minutes. I promise to put myself first and fight back for my way no matter what. You will find me scratch-less next time we meet," Alora's words calmed down Sarah instantly.

"Keep us updated on your every movement. It may take us a long period to fix everything but we will find you, no matter what. Keep fighting, my love," Professor Cara said holding back her eyes with a tear-stricken face.

"I will. Don't worry about me. I also know how to fight. Nothing will happen to me. You guys also remember to take care of yourselves. Take it slow, I will wait for you to reach out to me, no matter how long it takes. I will turn off the walkie-talkie now to save the battery. I Will update later."

"Ok."

After bidding Alora bye, everyone decided to go back to their houses.

Nonstop work from the past few days has them weakened.

They decided to rest for today and start working again tomorrow.

That night everyone falls back into a disturbing dreamless night with a burden over their shoulders.

In the 18th century (starting when Alora reached there) :

Alora falls into the bathroom right after coming out of the dark hole.

"Oh my sweet god, it hurts like hell. Was it necessary to drop me off like a slack of potato?" She groaned.

She took a few minutes to look at her surrendering.

Cream curtains were falling on the ground. The surface was plain and hard.

She looked before her to see a small bathtub-like thing. The stream was coming out from it as if the water was just placed there.

"It was surely placed here for someone to take a warm bath. Looks like an 18th-century movie. It gives away 18th-century vibes. Aw, vintage. So adorable," Alora thought dripping her finger on the water.

As predicted before, the water was warm.

She waited for a few minutes for someone to come but no one came.

She remembered about the walkie-talkie.

"Are you guys there? Is anyone listening to me?" She called out a few times but no one responded.

She tried again and thankfully, Sarah responded.

"Alora? Are you listening to us?" Sarah asked and Alora signed in relief.

"Finally," she thought.

"Yes, I am. I think I am in the wrong era. The room looks so beautiful yet from the 18th century's style. Maybe I am in a movie set," she chuckled looking around thinking that the setup was looking too realistic.

"No, you are in the 18th century. Right after you left the whole laboratory was blown up," Sarah said and Alora felt like she was dropped from the sky, only to get drowned in the river.

"Oh my sweet god, Are you guys ok? Are you fine, Sarah?" Panic was clear in her's voice.

She was getting worried sick thinking that something might have happened to Sarah or others.

"Would you please stop? You are the one in danger yet you are worried about us. Where's your self-love, huh? Why can't you learn to be a little selfish," Sarah cried out, sobs leaving her mouth.

Her cries made Alora's heart hurt.

"Are you crying, Sarah? Don't cry. It's no big deal. Somewhere in my heart, I wanted to visit the 18th century but then thought maybe I will visit it next time. God was feeling too generous. "Ok."

After bidding them bye, Alora decided to look around.

She came out of the bathroom and started walking in the hallway.

Suddenly, she heard noises coming from somewhere close.

She followed the noises, only to get the biggest shock of her life.

Life in the 18th Century starts now!
