That was most likely the second extremely powerful exchange of blows between Morgana and the massive giant. And it was only after the shockwave that followed it was fully dispersed that Pride released his [IRON CURTAIN].
The first view Leo caught a glimpse of was Morgana floating in the air while locking weapons with the giant. How a three-foot-long obsidian bat was holding a thirty-foot whetstone at bay was beyond Leo's understanding.
"Our girl's doing okay," he said.
Mr. Bones, who was standing next to him, said nothing. His face was as expressionless as usual. On the other hand, Pride was whining that he could have done better if Leo would just set him loose.
Leo sighed. "I really need funnier minions."
A loud grinding sound caused Leo's attention to return to Morgana.
She'd just pulled her bat back, effectively breaking the weapon lock. The massive giant had done the same too.
