During the two hours until the trailer was released, Amoura and the other streamers avoided playing Residual Devil and focused only on discussing the game, the improvements they had achieved in their marksmanship scores, and even comparing various other experiences with viewers.
When viewers noticed that 8 Rank F streamers were doing the same thing, they started asking the streamers to get on a voice call together while waiting for the trailer, as it would be more fun to see their interaction.
Finding this idea of viewers' cool, the streamers all decided to do this and got together to discuss the experiences they had had with the game.
"Are any of you also a firearms user?" Amoura asked curiously, as she didn't know the other Streamers very well.
A boy answered, "I am! Did you also increase your marksmanship points by a lot?"
"Yes, I managed to increase my points from 630 to 700 Points! If I can raise them another 80 points, maybe I can get a support slot in an E Rank mission!" Amoura said excitedly. "All this because of Residual Devil!"
The boy got excited as he replied, "Me too! I only had 560 Points before playing Residual Devil, but after I played the game for 2 hours, my score went up to 640! That was an increase of 80 points in just one day! I've never had such an amazing improvement in just a day!"
At that moment a girl interrupted, "Have any of you also tested your efficiency with knives?"
But the other streamers were confused. "What do you mean? Doesn't the game only offer improvements for firearms?"
The girl smiled as she explained, "Hehe, I thought that too. I decided to try Residual Devil just because it was an interesting game that viewers recommended after seeing Amoura playing it, but since I'm a player focused on melee weapons, I just played it for the fun of it. During the combat, I ditched the pistol and tried playing the game with just the knife your character carried on him, and guess what?!"
Amour was shocked. "Don't tell me your melee training score has gone up too?"
The girl laughed out loud. "Hahahaha, yeeeeeeeaaaaah! I had a score of 527 points before playing Residual Devil, but after playing the game for 3 hours, my score went up to 613 points! I received 86 game improvement points in a single training day! Even Knife Duel Simulator couldn't give me that much of an improvement! And what surprised me the most was that the game isn't even focused on melee battles!"
[OMG, I didn't download Residual Devil because I'm a player focused on sword combat. Could it be that if I play it with the knife it could also improve my combat?!]
"I think so!" The girl responded to the comment, making viewers of all of the livestreams even more excited!
With that information alone, the amount of downloads for Residual Devil saw another explosive increase. Adding up the Livestream viewers of all these streamers, they had a total of 3 thousand people, with Amoura being the biggest streamer among them with 700 viewers and the others with less people.
"Hey, did anyone else find a shotgun in the game? It's a lot easier to kill Zombies with the shotgun," a chubby and slightly shy boy chimed up.
He was the streamer with the least viewers in the group, with only 60 people watching him, but he was very good at shooting, to the point that his marksmanship training points were already at 820. However, he had not become a ranked player out of shyness.
"Is there even another gun other than a pistol in the game?" Amoura asked in surprise.
"Ye- Yes, I managed to find a hidden shotgun. Unlike the pistol, where you need a lot of shots to kill the zombies, if you shoot the shotgun at their head, the zombie dies pretty much instantly," the boy explained, which left both streamers and viewers in awe.
"Could it be that there are other things hidden in the game that we just haven't found?" Another boy asked excitedly.
"Maybe? I've never heard of a Developer doing something like that before, but this EA doesn't seem to follow the routine that other Developers seem to do, so it's possible there are more hidden things as well." Amoura gave her point of view.
"That's interesting. If it wasn't for the trailer that's coming out in 30 minutes, I'd want to jump in the game and look for any other secrets now!" the other girl said excitedly.
The conversation that these F-Rank streamers were having was something quite new for viewers. As games were usually made just for training, streamers had no real reason to interact other than if they were going to compete with each other, but since Residual Devil was so innovative, seeing something like this happening just to discuss things in the story, secrets they found, or even commenting on viewers' experiences, it was something that made all of the viewers very interested.
And not only were the viewers the normal followers of these streamers, but there were also other viewers who didn't know what to watch, saw this situation going on, and tuned in on the livestreams so they could see what these people were discussing.
When they saw that this game was so interesting, they were eager to see the trailer too, wanting to know what innovations it might bring. With that, the total number of viewers on the Livestream of those 8 people went up from 3 thousand people to 5 thousand during the two hours until the launch of the trailer.
Amoura had already broken the mark of 1,000 simultaneous viewers for the first time in her life, which made her very excited and grateful for Residual Devil.
Even among the other streamers, some had managed to raise their total number of viewers to over 600, while even the smallest streamer, the shy chubby kid, managed to raise his viewership to 180 people, a number he never thought he would reach, making his cute little face show a big smile of happiness while thanking everyone who was watching him - especially when he promised that he would play Residual Devil again and that he would show everyone where to find the shotgun. This one statement then made his followers rise to more than 500 people, made up of both players that had already tried Residual Devil as well as new players who had just discovered the game and wanted to have special knowledge to help with their gameplay.
In the blink of an eye, the 2 hours until the trailer came and passed, and they were only 30 seconds from having the trailer available.
"Hey, only 30 seconds left! Let's watch the trailer together!" Amoura pitched the idea, finding it really fun to talk to these people rather than just being alone.
"Yeah! I want to watch it with you too!" The other girl was also excited as she agreed, liking these other people who also enjoyed the same game as her.
So the 8 streamers got together to watch the trailer.
The total number of viewers that was at 5k had risen to 6k in the last 60 seconds, probably from people who set reminders to come back to the livestream and see what that trailer they'd been waiting for would show.
On all of the streamers' screens, in the last 10 seconds, a countdown started.

Suddenly, the scene changed to a player speaking with Ethan's voice while looking at a woman holding a baby.
"Hey, is this Ethan's daughter, Rose - the girl who we're looking for in the story?!" Amoura said excitedly.
"I think so! Wow, will chapter 01 show what Ethan's life was like before he arrived in the village? That's why she appeared in the trailer?!"
"Woah, his wife is so beautiful! His life must have been really good!"
"Look how cute Rose is!"
"The salesperson said it's a traditional fairy tale of the area." Ethan's wife commented as she handed the book over for him to look at.
On the cover of the book was written the words: Village of Shadows.
"Hey, is this Village of Shadows the village we were in while we were playing?"
"I think so…Maybe it's some macabre story about the village?"
"Will it be possible to read the book during chapter 01 to understand the history of the village?"
"Man, Developer EA really thought about every detail of this game's story, huh? If this was a real book, he'd be rich by now, since this is much more interesting than any book I've ever read!"
"Yeah, I've never had so much fun while playing a game."
So the trailer began to switch between scenes of the happy life Ethan had with his wife and daughter, while showing a SWAT squad entering his house and killing his wife.
"Damn it, why did they kill her?!"
"Could it be that they kidnapped Ethan's daughter to take her to the village?"
"Motherfuckers, I have to kill them all and save Rose!"
With the development of the trailer, the more than 6,000 people watching the livestream saw Ethan deal with countless Zombies, different species of monsters, even a woman with a huge mouth that controlled insects. There was also a huge Zombie who had a giant hammer slamming into Ethan, sending him flying.
Each scene both shocked and scared the viewers. People who had already played Residual Devil thought that they would be able to continue playing the game without any fear, since they had already killed a few zombies, but when they saw the other monsters that Ethan would encounter in the story, those people got scared again.
It was already very difficult to fight a single zombie at a time. What would they have to do when several zombies came at the same time?! There was even a scene where Ethan was facing over 15 zombies! How could they survive that?!
At the end of the trailer, seeing Ethan suffocated by a large amount of metal falling from the sky took the viewers' breath away.
