"Of course, she has her own ways out of any situation..." Thraxis bitterly muttered as he watched Eleis who headed in the direction Ken had gone towards. 

 Neo appeared beside him and accompanied him while he watched. 

"So, what was his third wish?" Thraxis curiously asked Noe who gave him a confused look. "What? I am in a way omnipotent but not omniscient... Not to mention I am suppressing Eleis so I am vastly limited here," he dryly said. 

Neo nodded, "Go ask him," She stated making Thraxis give up, knowing well that Neo wouldn't tell and same for Ken. 

"What a hassle... Eleis figured out my plan, gained an advantage, and also made a neutral against her, and to top it off, she made Noah a barrier against Siria... Now I am stuck and Ken is the deciding factor... A real hassle," Thraxis muttered in annoyance, as all his plans were seen through Eleis who made them to her advantage. 

"Connection with level infinity... Such a grandiose skill but with a clear loophole," Thraxis whined and hung his head. 

"The loophole is clear but why are you whining about it? Ken is stronger," Neo declared not being able to understand why the problem was here. 

"Sigh... that skill just made sure Ken could kill Eleis but Eleis can kill Ken." Thraxis began explaining his tone growing bored and lazier with each word. "Ken killing her will mean she will return in 3 days but Eleis can Kill Ken and then Kill herself making sure Ken is dead and then return later... " 

"I see," Neo muttered unfazed by the current situation, "Then Ken's with makes more sense now," she added making Thraxis curious about the wish but he was currently too lazy to ask.

In Ken's room, he prepared himself to enter the Aerks the planet where Arcanum Ages of Valor takes place as a VR game. 

but before he could Eleis with a smile entered the room, Ken stared blankly at the smiling Eleis not wanting to deal with her. "What do you want?" Ken plainly questioned. 

"Nothing! Just came to say hi!" Eleis said with her smile ever present. 

"As if..." 

Ken directly got into the pod and logged in, Eleis shrugged and took a seat closing her eyes to watch Ken who was in Aerks now. 

"This game is just getting started~!" She mused as she created a spell on the spot and sealed off the room. "What a pity~! Oh dear Thraxis~ I wonder if you still think I am trying to kill Ken~? Teehee~ I hope not or else I might have to take some serious measures~" She cheerfully mumbled. 

Meanwhile in Aerks. 

"Hey, Eleis," He called out as he made his way through the allys near the city center. "How much is the exchange of Gold with System points?" He asked. 

[Hmm, 10 gold coins per 1 system point!] Eleis responded naturally both of them ignoring the earlier dispute. 

BAM!!

The sound of hammer slamming started to come from the direction Ken was heading, there was a small shop there that had intense smoking coming out of the window. 

Ken got inside the shot and scanned the place, it was what you would expect from a blacksmith. There was a dwarf in the corner who was standing next to a tube of icy water with a blade in his hand that was glowing from how hot it was.

He was bare-handed and was examining the blade and after a while, he slowly lowered it to the icy water

The water sizzled and boiled instantly while the red-hot blade started to lose its glow. The ice started to melt and the water steamed crazily.

Ken watched, not disturbing the process the whole time. And after a bit more of waiting the dwarf left the blade inside the tube and looked at Ken who didn't speak a word. 

"You aren't that bad kid, if you had spoken a single word I would have kicked you with all your bones broken," the dwarf casually remarked as he cleaned off his hands. "So, what do you want? Unlike some brats, you didn't disrupt the process so I will give you a discount," 

"I am here for armor, the best that can match me, something that wouldn't restrict me or be too weak to hold me back, and a good sword." Ken unhesitatingly stated what he wanted making the dwarf nod. 

"My name is Dezmur Smith, what's yours? You look promising," Dezmur introduced and complimented as he opened a door and gestured Ken in.

"My name is Ken Valxin," Ken introduced himself and followed the Dezmur inside a storage-like place that was very spacious and well-kept. All kinds of armor, weapons, and stuff were there. 

"What's your budget? I will pick out accordingly to that," Dezmur asked as he picked out a few. 

"Doesn't matter, anything that will fit my current strength will do," Ken stated and Dezmur looked at Ken skeptically 

"You sure?" 

'I need 2,000 gold coins... and a pouch for it' Ken demanded and instantly a sack of gold appeared in front of Ken who caught it and tossed it to Dezmur who took it and felt the weight. 

"You got pretty good tricks, you are a melee mage or something?" Dezmur asked as he placed down the sack without needing to check the content inside. 

"You could say so, and are you ok with not checking what's in the bag?" Ken answered and curiously inquired. 

"I am a blacksmith who has lived with all kinds of metals. If I wasn't able to tell what was inside that bag and how much it would be a shame," Dezmur smirked and looked at Ken, "Since you have 2,000 gold coins I won't be stingy and get you what I got the best that would fit your current level." 

[He is very experienced, he just measured your strength without even trying. Looks like you made a good impression of him as well, lucky you!]

'It's not simply about impressions or anything... He is one of the best blacksmiths that was shown in the anime and he isn't any pushover, he can tell who needs what and how compatible they are with it and much more.' 

Ken explained and Eleis didn't bother to continue the conversation. 

Dezmur returned with a set of armor and two swords. "Here try this on,"

After a while, Ken stepped out of the changing room and looked at the mirror, "A little flashy but the color matches where I am going so this is better," Ken complimented.

[Looking good there! but don't forget about one thing! Some monsters don't see all the colors so for some monsters you would stand out like a sore thumb!] 

Eleis immediately shot Ken down, but Ken only shrugged, 'Not a big deal, I only need to avoid human and humanoid monsters which is already good enough,' 

[Fair enough] 

"How is it, kid? This will last you a while, not the best I can make but the best that will fit your current strength," Dezmur smugly said as he pocketed the 2,000 gold coins away. 

"It's better than I thought would get," Ken replied as he moved around and tried out the swords as well. 

"BHawahahaha!! You paid 2,000 gold kid! Don't think it's just normal, it's good armor there! Now get on your way already I got work!"
