Heilged is not a place for humans, but rather is dominated by other more godlike races. This results in humans being treated as no more than slaves to the other races, and thus makes travel to other places nearly impossible. Many years ago one man Fredrick Freed a human from Middleton had traveled the world as a human, and was said to be the only man capable of accomplishing such a feat. Fredrick has since died, but his grandson Dante Freed hopes to accomplish this same goal, but plans on even surpassing his grandpas legacy. The only problem is Dante unlike his grandpa has no proper skills fighting, and instead only has good communication skills. Dante will have to overcome many challenges along the way that not even his grandpa had ever dealt with.

Chapter 27: Lost and Found

Bastrin and I walked through the desolate ruins hoping to seek out some relics, or any kind of danger we walked for what seemed like eons. I thought that dungeons were supposed to be action packed with monsters, and treasure scattered neatly throughout. Qwell was on her own path, and Rena was with Lilith, so I had confidence that both the other groups would be fine. I was starting to question whether Bastrin, and I had choose the path that lead right to a dead end. Bastrin and I wondered whether we should head back many times, but decided that going forward for a little while longer would be fine. When we got tired we rested for a spell then we sat back up, and traveled forward into the ever expanding darkness. I hoped that the other paths were not as dark as the the path that Bastrin and I were on I could see in the dark the others however were not so lucky. We ate whatever food I had in my bag, and prayed that we would come across any sighs of life remaining in this black pit.
