* 5 in the morning the next day *

Xiao Tian and the group were standing in front of the hall of awakening on time, waiting for the 4 guardians to come.

Xiao Tian and the others had a light breakfast and came to the hall of awakening a few minutes prior.

Soon, Chen Feng flashed in front of the children.

" I'll be taking you all to the soul beast forest managed by our academy to get your soul rings. There are no 10,000 year soul beasts in the academy's forest.".. said Chen Feng to the 7 geniuses and 2 evildoers standing in front of him.

Xiao Tian and the others were aware of the soul beast forest that Chen Feng had mentioned.

It was a forest that was artificially created by the academy for the students to acquire their first 3 soul rings. The forest had a variety of soul beasts ranging from different ages. The forest was named 'Myriad Beasts Forest' by Wang Fan.

The forest was made 100 km away from the college in a small plain. The forest was guarded by 9 soul saints and various soul venerable's regularly patrolled.

" Alright, let's go to the academy's entrance, there's a carriage waiting for us.".. said Chen Feng and flashed away towards the academy's entrance.

Xiao Tian and the others also quickly followed after Chen Feng.

They reached the entrance after 10 minutes and saw a huge carriage standing at the entrance. The carriage was pulled by three 100 year old Iron Horned Rhinos. There was a middle aged man standing beside the rhinos, he seemed to be the driver.

" Everyone get inside the carriage and sit quietly.".. said Chen Feng to the 9 genius class students.

The children nodded their head and one by one entered the carriage and sat inside the carriage. Chen Feng entered the carriage at the end and sat with the children.

The driver was already informed of their destination and he quickly started driving the carriage once Chen Feng was seated.

It took them 2 hours to reach the Myriad Beasts Forest.

Everyone got out of the forest and waited for further instructions from Chen Feng.

" Now that we've reached the forest, let me tell you a few things. Your soul rings have to be hunted by yourselves, except Xiao Tian's. " Yes big brother.".. said KongXuan and Qing'er in unison with a serious expression.

They both knew that, it was an important task as they had to scout the path ahead and detect dangers and opportunities for the group, They were the only two members who could fly due to their martial souls except for Xiao Tian.

" Li Feng you'll be the left flanker and Yang Xiao will be the right flanker.".. said Xiao Tian with a thoughtful expression.

Yang Xiao and Li Feng understood their duties and nodded to Xiao Tian to show their understanding.

" Wan'er , Xiaomeng and Lu Yang will be in the center of the formation. Wan'er, make sure to protect xiaomeng and Lu Yang incase any soul beast breaks through the formation. Yun'er, you also stay with them, just in case something happens.".. said Xiao Tian.

Murong Wan'er nodded her head with a serious expression and promised to defend xiaomeng and Lu Yang with her best abilities.

" Tian Ge, I'll make sure that no harm comes to wan'er, xiaomeng and Lu Yang.".. said Yun Yun with a cute expression.

" Then what about you big brother?".. asked Hu Xiaomeng with a curious expression, which only looked cute and silly in the others eyes.

" Haha.. xiaomeng, I'll be at the back of the formation to make sure that we don't get sneak attacked from our backs.".. said Xiao Tian with a smile while rubbing xiaomeng's head.

Hu Xiaomeng, liked Xiao Tian's head rubs and head pats.

Chen Feng had a satisfied smile on his face looking at the children.

' Xiao Tian is fit to be a leader. He is very strong, smart, talented and humble. He is the best student I've ever seen in my 40 years of academic life. They moved at a slow speed as it was their first time entering the forest.

Xiao Tian looked at the 2 meter big black skinned and red eyed bull. It was the Rampage Bull. Xiao Tian saw through the beasts cultivation at a glance, as he had been reading books on soul beasts knowledge since he was less than 3 years old. It was a 61 year old Rampage Bull.
