Ringing ears.

The next day Arwen woke up to a banging head and ringing ears, when she sat up she felt like her head split in half, one half in her hand and the other half still on her head and nothing at that particular time felt worse than that, not even death.

"Nice of you to join the land of the living once again." Kaithleen emerged from the dark blending in smoothly without an effort that if Arwen was human then she'd have thought she was going insane.

"I can vividly remember what happened ad for your information I am not dealing with any form of sarcasm coming from you right now." Arwen laid down once again regretting all the choices she made that led her here.

"You still mad?" Kaithleen looked at the floor as if it suddenly became the most fascinating thing she had ever seen meanwhile Arwen just rolled her eyes in response. "I am mad Kaith, you know that I didn't exactly think of my mate all this years but I did feel immerse pain at the pit of my stomach every time for a few years straight.

"I didn't think anything of it at first but after the talk I had with Caspian yesterday I started connecting the debts and then Daphne happened to be there at the club ad if I follow what Caspian said.

Daphne had a choice Kaith, she had two options to choose from; she could leave and pretend she didn't sniff me at the club and I'd be waiting for my mate till I grow old and grey or she could show herself for me and I'd find my mate.

She chose me Kaith, she chose me and in that moment I realized that all the pain I felt all those years ago from her, she was suffering silently with everyone misunderstanding her every time."

Arwen shook uncontrollably as she felt pain for everything her mate had gone through.

"Wen wen.....I didn't know you felt that way, now I feel bad." Hearing everything her friend said Kaithleen felt bad only after hearing what Arwen said meaning that she didn't feel any remorse from what she said to Daphne the day before at all.

"In essence, what you are saying is that you felt no remorse for dissing my mate and talking shit about my mate?" Arwen looked at her friend with bloodshot eyes and Kaithleen knew what that meant.

Arwen wouldn't hesitate to kill her.

"Wen wen please calm down and lets talk about this rationally for a second please." Arwen on the other hand didn't stop and just continued walking towards Kaithleen slowly cornering the woman leaving her with no where else to run.

"When it comes to my mates, there is no rational thinking. Talk shit about them again and I'd have your head on a stick and I'd have your head on a stick and I'd do the honors of burning it." Arwen turned around and walked to the bathroom leaving no room for Kaithleen to give me an answer.

Kaithleen knew she had really crossed the line when Arwen looked at her with bloodshot eyes and at the moment all she focused on was not getting killed.

The story of how a woman killed her best friend talked shit about her mate souned cliche but not impossible with Arwen or her brother. The siblings were totally crazy but of course Kaithleen still loved her best friend very much.

(In the bathroom)

Arwen filled the tub with warm water to help her calm down she didn't know why she reacted that way oh wait yeah she knew. After taking a bath Arwen went out to her room and was relieved to see that her friend wasn't there waiting for her in her room.

Arwen got dressed in her workout clothes and headed straight for the gym in the pack house where she planned to stay for a very long time.

"I was looking for you." Caspian looked at her nails while leaning on the wall.

"You found me. What do you want." Arwen wasn't feeling generous enough to give him her attention at the moment so she just wanted to go to the gym in peace without anyone interrupting her but apparently that was too much to ask.

"What was your mate's decision last night."
