"I found my mate. Well I'm about to find her, I just sniffed her and I want to go check it out so please just wait. I'd be back soon." With that being said Arwen bolted from there following the scent and she was led to the bar where she saw a head full of dark hair?

There on a stool facing the bartender sat a female with the most gorgeous back Arwen had ever seen and apparently the most beautiful laugh she had ever heard and apparently the culprit emitting that spicy goodness asking her wolf go insane.

(A few minutes earlier)

After unblocking her scent Daphne sat there while patiently waiting for her mate and so to pass time she ordered scotch on the rocks since she didn't feel like whiskey neat this time around.

The bartender was a gorgeous female and couldn't help but ask while serving Daphne's drink.

"What you doing here gorgeous? Bad day?"

"Not far from that actually but my evening has been pretty productive to say the least." Daphne answered taking a swig of her drink after the bar lady placed it in front of her.

"Then why are you sitting here looking all lost? Did a snake eat your cat? Oh my gosh I'm so sorry for your loss." The bartender wiped invincible tears from her face while Daphne erupted in laughter.

"Gosh, you crack me up so much already. No my cat wasn't eaten by a snake, a weird combination of you ask me."

"Well good thing I didn't ask then but hey the heart wants what it wants." The bartender answered with a smirk playing on her full luscious lips.

That made Daphne start thinking what she was doing here in the first place so she voiced out her thoughts.

"By the way, why are you here?"

You habe a body that would easily pass for an A-grade model and lots of other talents I can tell there's something upstairs as well." Daphne stated while pointing at the bar lady's head indicating that she was referring to her brain as upstairs.

After wiping her tears for real this time but from laughing too much as well. Tara straightened up her posture and held out her hand.

"Hey stranger. I'm Taira Aidy Dane and I work here at night but I'm a tech Wizz by the day and bartender by night and I make enough from tech but I just enjoy bartending and let's face it, sometimes staying home alone makes loneliness surface."

"Wow, that's cool. I'm Daphne." Daphne accepted Taira's outstretched hand shaking her while Taira's mouth was agape and on the floor.

"Wait, are you saying that Daphne Draeden Daenery's is the person I'm shaking now?" Taira asked stunned.

"Way to full name me, but if you know my full name you should be able to tell if it's me or not no?" Daphne answered playing Tai Chi around the question while already slyly giving her the answer she was looking for.

"So in essence I'm talking to the princess and next ruler of this kingdom?" Aidy asked no one in particular but at the same time someone in particular.

Chuckling lightly Daphne broke Aidy out of her trance "Well if that's how you'd like to put it but I'd say we just be friends.

Daphne waited for the main reason she was at the bar in the first place while making that suggestion.

"Just friends? Oh how dare you?" Taira went out from behind the bar and twirled in front of Daphne listing her goodies proudly. "How sure are you that I'm not your mate? I'm beautiful like an A-list model and lemme remind you, those were your words not mine. I'm smart, funny, and can fit into any role." Aidy said confidently.

Daphne laughed heartily before proceeding.

"As much as my dick wants to fuck the shit out of you till you're left barely able to move thereby crushing your legs. I can't because my mate is already here." Daphne stated turning around and wrapping her hands around Arwen's waist meanwhile the person I'm question was stunned and looked like a deer in headlights with what she just said as she glared at Daphne with wide eyes, her mouth opening and closing. trying to make sentences but nothing was coming after a while.

Meanwhile, Aidy amiled widely while going to hug Daphne for the first time that night and winked at Arwen before saying. "Darn gurl! Your mate is flawless, definitely queen material."

"Oh you got no idea with a huge smirk on her face. Turning to Aidy she took about her phone and handed it to her.

"Put your number and I'd call you." Aidy quickly took the phone, typed her number in and saved it returning the phone back to Daphne. Meanwhile Arwen felt her eyes twitch slightly not believing her eyes.

First her mate lures her to her location then boasts about her and now with the cherry on top she was flirting and collecting another woman's number.

Ok maybe flirting is wrong but she was definitely collecting the woman's number that's for sure.

Arwen wanted to kill her mate at that moment so bad that she walked up to Daphne and smacked her right across the face.

Daphne had a smirk on her face while asking "What the fuck was that for?"

"That was for having thick skin and the nerve to ask another girl for her number while me Your Mate is standing right next to you.

Have you no restrictions so bad that you can't keep it in your pants?" Arwen asked while glaring at her mate and with the look she gave Daphne knew at that moment that if looks could kill she would have been murdered by her mate the moment she came to the bar.

Catching Daphne off guard Arwen jumped aiming for her ear and sure enough she caught her eat and the she pulled Daphne down to reach her height since Daphne was literally 6 ft 5 while Arwen was 5 ft 8 like imagine the difference.

"That's what you get for flirting right in front of me, now let's go we need to talk." Without wasting a second more Arwen released Daphne's innocent ear that was already red and sore from the harsh treatment it had been given and Daphne stroked her ear quietly and gently, comforting her now red as blood ear.
