Tournament of Geniuses

As it approached morning I opened my eyes and said "Finally It's time to meet Li Fu Chen."

"Fu Lei?" An old hoarse voice called.

"Patriarch over here." I called.

An old man with long white hair and blue eyes similar to my own came over to me and said with a proud and surprised voice, "Haha~ it seems Fu Xian wasn't lying when he said you were cultivating and reaching the 7th layer in a single day!"

"Patriarch I will bring glory to our clan!" I said with a bow of respect.

"Since you have decided this path I will support you with everything! Although our clan does not have many martial arts nor connections we do have a single Qi pill and I will give it to you." the Patriarch said as he handed me a blue pill.

"Patriarch....." I replied.

"No need to thank me just take it and break through before the tournament." He replied.

"I understand Patriarch, I will not let you down." I answered to him bowing once more.

"In that case, I will leave you be." He said as he left.

"A Qi pill, hmm I could possibly reach the Origin-Returning realm with this but I think I should just reach the peak of Qi refinement and then actually work on the family martial arts to not raise suspicion." I thought to myself as I consumed the Qi pill and sat in a lotus position once more.

By the end of the day I had reached the 9th layer and with the family martial arts because they were merely low tier, yellow class I had reached the Perfection realm.

The next day I decided to reach the peak of the 9th layer then reach the Trance realm for the family martial arts before getting ready to head out for tomorrow, the day of the tournament.

"Young master! Time to set out!" Called Fu Xian.

"Ok coming!" I replied as I grabbed a small bag of rations and my sword as I headed out and begin to make my way to the tournament.

Upon nearing the stadium I could see hundreds of people enter and even managed to spot the original main character Li Fu Chen.

"The only rules are no killing." The city lord called.

The fights had started and I got to witness Li Fu Chen just destroy his fight opponent before I was called up.

"I suppressed my cultivation to the 6th layer before coming up just to see how long I can last alone with the restriction of being in the 6th layer and the Fu family martial arts." I thought to myself.

"Begin!" Announced the referee.

My opponent went to slash at my arm but I swiftly dodged and instead of using my sword simply used my palm to strike his chest sending him flying off the area causing the audience to cheer.

"Fu Lei wins." The referee called.

The fights then continued with me winning all my fights and the story going as canon besides Shen Tue Jue who was now against me for the last position available.

"Fu Lei allow me to win my clan needs this!" He called.

"As does mine." I replied.

We began to fight with Shen Tue Jue continuously attacking leaving no room for me to counter I then use my sword to redirect his sword attack to the floor causing him to falter in which I put my sword against his throat as he then gave up.

The top five this time were; Li Fu Chen, Fu Lei, Zhong Hong Xiu, He ping, and finally Yang Kai.

We five then received our prizes, 2 Qi gathering pills, and 10 thousand gold coins. We then headed to the sect three days later but before that my clan held a big party for my admission to the Cang Lang sect....
