　　Derek’s POV

　　At the gate of the Lumiere Pack.

　　Half an hour passed and they hadn't sent Erika out.

　　I ordered some of the warriors to surround the pack and be ready to fight. Then I asked Kent to contact James and tell him not to go to the Lumiere Pack if he received a message to lead warriors to support them.

　　My warriors had surrounded the pack and were just waiting for me to order an attack.

　　At this point, Alex also came out, leading his warriors.

　　Alex stopped about 1000 feet from us. Each of his warriors was well equipped with a variety of weapons and a wolf growled beside each warrior. Francis' information was correct. Alex had developed a new fighting mode, a wolf and warrior fighting together, a way that combined the advantages of long-range and close-range combat. Alex was said to be a bad fighter but a military genius, and he was true to his reputation.
