Friendship Test

The day started normal for Hayley waking up, getting breakfast and brushing her teeth, doing her hair and putting on makeup. Hayley went to South Lake High, which was a public non-uniform high school. Hayley went to her closet to decide what to wear, after 15 minutes of searching she chose a pair of jeans, with a black shirt with a small blue butterfly on the top center of the shirt, andwith a pair of white Fila shoes.

Hayley looked outside her dining room window

" Hayley time for school, get in the car."!

"Coming mom"! Finally she arrived at school, my mom can be so embarrassing in the car Hayley thought to herself.

"Hayley"! Oh it's Amanda, one of my friends.

"Hi"! "How's it going Amanda"?

"Great". Sometimes I wished Amanda would be more outgoing but she is always quiet but never around me.

Hayley thought to herself again,. " That's the bell. We should get to class".

After four dreadful classes in a row, it was finally time for recess. Hayley and Amanda decided to go to the playground and sit and talk on the bridge. Soon, later a bunch of boys came up to the girls and this is what happened.

" Hey Amanda, why do you always have to be so quiet all the time?" said one boy.

Another boy said, "She's she's like a mouse."

"Yeah," they both laughed and walked off.

After they left, Amanda was quiet and Hayleyr asked her if she was ok.;

" Hey you ok"?

"No they were teasing me and all you did was say nothing., How could you be so selfish and not notice?"!

" Well maybe I would like it for you once in your life you wouldand not be a mouse and stay quiet!" Hayley shouted.

After that Hayley stormed off and went to join her other friends and left Amanda sitting on the bridge all alone. Amanda thought she would get up and talk to someone but soon realized the only person she ever talked to was Hayley and she was gone and she didn't have any other friends.

The next day at school Amanda saw Hayley and some of her friends laughing in the hallway.

"I really want to go up to them and say something but i'm just too shy," Aamanda thought.

Later at lunch , Hayley was sitting with some friends at lunch and Amanda wanted to go up to them and talk but she was too shy again.

"I'll just go sit by myself and hope someone will join me," said Amanda.

Nobody joined Aamanda for lunch so she ate her lunch and wrote in her notebook.

Every single day the same thing happened at lunch for Amanda but Hayley noticed how lonely she looked and that weekend Amanda received a text from Hayley saying to meet her at the community park so they could talk. Amanda replied with an ok and put on a pair of jeans with an AC/DC shirt.

Hayley saw Amanda sitting on a park bench and lightly tapped her.

"Hey"

"Oh "hey," said Aamanda.,

" So i want to talk about what happened a couple of weeks ago."

"Ok."

" So I'm sorry Ii didnt say anything to those stupid boys who said something. I guess I didnt know what to say.".

"It's its ok I guess I took it a little too personal and I shouldn'ta shoulnt care what they say. ''. The two talked for a while and became friends again.

The next day at school, Amanda got to meet some of Hayley's friends and they became friends. and They realized that Amanda is not shy once you get to know her and she is actually a really funny and sweet person.
