Chapter 1

I woke up from my unexpected nap to my puppy, Nico, licking my face. I groaned as I lightly pushed him aside with a yawn. I looked around realizing I had forgotten to turn off my camera after I finished my outro. I turned it off as I got myself off the floor to grab a leash for Nico.

"Nico!" I called, he came pouncing excitedly back down the hallway at the sound of his name. "Do you wanna go outside?" I asked him. His his whole body moved with his tail as if to say 'yes.'

I laughed as I attached his leash to the loop on the collar. I opened my door and headed down the hallway to the elevator. Once we reached the first floor I spotted Jessi as she exited her apartment.

Jessi has long dark brown hair with hazel eyes. She was wearing light make-up along with a necklace that she had gotten from Dylan. Jessi wore  a plain white crop top and teal shorts along with a her converse and gray beanie.

"Hey Sky," she said with a warm smile as she saw Nico and I approaching her.

"Hey," I replied pulling Nico to a stop. "What're you up to?" I asked.

"Me, Dylan, and Joey are going for a walk." She answered quickly before kneeling down next to Nico to pet him. "If you want I could ask if you can tag along." She offered.

"As much as I would like too I have to take Nico out and clean up my place." I started, "then I have to send my video into Gaege or Bailey for editing."

"Well text Zach maybe he can come down and keep you company," she smiled coolly as she continued to the exit.

"Come on boy," I called to my pup once Jessi was out of my view.

Once I was outside I let Nico off his leash in the fenced in area allowing him to release some energy. I decided to pull out my phone and go through some comments from my last YouTube video for new video ideas.

Most of the comments read: 'do a prank on your boyfriend' and 'make another video with your boyfriend.'

Now here's the thing I don't have a boyfriend. I had only lived her in LA for about half a year. I had moved from Florida where I lived with my brother Gaege who is both my part time editor and a YouTuber. I had made friends with lots of people here mostly YouTubers.

I haven't collaborated with any of them, but I have done many videos with Jessi and Zach. Therefore people thought Zach to be my boyfriend and called me a liar every time I told them he was just a friend, which also made me give up on trying and letting them think what they want.

Once Nico had tired himself out I put his leash back on and we headed back up to my apartment. I took off Nicos leash once we reached the apartment and closed the door. I walked over to my camera. I did my best to delete the boring footage of  when I had fallen asleep. I texted Gaege asking him if he would be able to edit for me this week, but he told me he was busy, so I ended up sending the video in to my best friend Bailey.

An hour and a half passed by and it was now around 7:00, I stared at my phone wondering if I should message Zach for company like Jessi had suggested, but instead I decided to text my good friend Cody.

"Hey, are you working right now?" I asked.

About 20 minutes later he replied with, "Yessir, are you coming in today?"

"Yeah, I'm gonna come in for a bit and then maybe take a walk if it's not too dark." I replied.

"Alrighty then I'll see you soon."

*Tempest*

I arrived at Tempest about 30 minutes later. I grabbed my purse out of my car and headed into the building.

"Hey Cody!" I called over to him with a wave.

"Hey Sky," he said jogging towards me. Cody had left a group of four boys to greet me, the boys had been here a lot the past few weeks , messing around, practicing and learning flips, and overall just having fun.

I knew who the boys were we had met through Cody and I was aquatinted with them, but I still never really talked to them.

"You can throw your purse in the office up there." Corbin told me once he noticed my bag.

"Alright thanks Cody," I said with a smile.

I jogged to the black pole and climbed it up to the door so I could put my stuff in there. I looked out the window and down at the four boys, Spencer, Cole, Caleb, and Alan.

Alan had brown hair, a beard and brown eyes. He wore a red tank top and a pair of shorts. All of the boys were all laughing as they talked with Cody.

Caleb stood to the left of Alan. He had dark brown hair with a man bun and dark brown eyes, Caleb also had a beard that was much smaller than Alan's. Caleb was wearing a gray hoodie that read, 'no sense' and navy blue shorts.

Spencer stood to the right of Alan. He had blonde hair and blue eyes and he wore a red shirt that read, 'just do it' with black and white shorts.

Cole was standing next to Spencer, he had brown hair and blue eyes and a few tattoos. Cole wore a blue shirt that said, 'do what scares you' with short black pants that came up a little past his knees.

I exited the office and walked over to the boys stopping once I was standing next to Cody.

"Are you guys filming a video?" I asked referring to the camera that Alan was holding.

"Yeah, we're doing another overnight." Alan replied proudly.

"I'm staying  over with them once again." Cody joked.

Cole whispered something to Spencer then rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and looked down at the floor. I glanced over at the clock which read 8:00, exactly one hour before Tempest closed.

I always like coming into Tempest when there's not many people around. I looked outside and noticed that it was already really dark which meant that Nico wasn't going for a walk tonight.
