Chapter 38

We're doing some tracking and all I could see was red and it's moving until it dissapeard to Leo's laptop.

"Maybe, they're in the sky, there's no signal there so sana lang ligtas sila. Para man lang maka ganti tayo, lalo na sa mga taong nadamay nila na wala namang ginagawang masama."

"I should check the location after. I need to be ready." Sambit ko at kinuha ang sniper na nasa tabi. It was so heavy but I didn't complain. I was used to try on this and smirk when I remember the day he used me to train how to use it until I got a head shot many times.

I noticed Azure staring at me kaya tinignan ko sya pabalik nang nakataas ang kilay ko. "You looked fine, but don't shoot him in the head because that's not our plan to kill him." Sambit nya at kinuha ang kamay ko at may inilagay doon. "Take your medicine first and we're going."

Hindi na ako umagal pa at ininom na lang yon. Natakot siguro na baka mag bago isip ko at patayin na lang yon para matapos na. But it's not my work to kill people, just warned them or just getting shot on the shoulder. I'm not like Nicole or even Chloe who's allowed to kill people, an enemy people. But I only heard that Nicole was the only one who brave to kill enemy enough and to satisfied her.

Nasa van na kami nang kausapin ko ang ibang member ng org kasama sina Chloe at Lucas. These two doesn't want to watch us to fight. And I made as a promise to protecr them at all cost, so I'll do the favor to only warn him and change his mind to back out. But even if he change his mind, it still haunt him down, for killing Axel Melendes will be his night mare.

After arriving at the Airport, I was the one who allowed at the rooftop. The plane was land already as I see the telescope, waiting for him to come out. I waited in a minute before he come out. I fired my sniper as his guards are alarmed to protect his front, side and back. Ready for the fight and holding some guns on them.

I started to laugh when they saw no one. Of course who would to plan stupid and showed themselves after? Maybe, some other but not me.

"They are alarmed, fastly protect Vion to not get shot. I'm out here, some guards will arrive here in a sec."

"Take care, Krish." Azure answered with his concern voice.

Dali dali na akong bumaba ng rooftop sabit ang sniper na nasa likod ko. Kahit mabigat ay hindi ako nag reklamo. I'm still adjusting since hindi naman gaano kabigat iyong iba na pinapagamit nya sa akin, ito lang.

"The Melendes are arriving at the hotel he will stay in, including Xyria."

Napakunot ang noo ko sa narinig. "What? No! She should not be there she's pregnant! Stop her!" I can't help but to shout at him.

"No one can stop her, she heard about planning and even she's still a member, no one can stop her. She's really mad, remembering her brother died because of protecting her. Kinakain pa din sya nang guilt dahil sa nangyari sa kapatid nya. Maybe this is the chance to have her vengeance, but she's not allowed to kill." Kalmado ang boses ni Leo nang sabihin nya iyon.

I was so frustrated. "No! Just f** stop her! Vion will kill her for sure! Once he sees Xyria, his sister will be remember her and it will triggered him!"

"But that's the plan Krish! Napag usapan na natin to."

I gritted my teeth as I try to calm myself. "But Azure didn't mention about her getting involved of this, are you out of your mind already?!"

"Because we know you'll react this! Kaya hindi namin sinabi sayo to. I know you will just push Xyria away because she's pregnant but can you trust us on this?" Pagpupumilit ni Leo.

I can feel my body's heat and boiled in anger because of his stupid plan. "*** you! Vion know she's pregnant. Kapag nagkaroon nang tama nang bala si Xyria, I swear that I'll shoot you in the head because of your stupidity!"

I am slowly losing my patience as I run and drive to the Hotel. I try to contact Veil but his phone was unreachable. Nanginginig ang mga kamay ko nang tawagan sina Chloe at Nicole.

But only one answered.

"You sister in law was in danger. My member try to involved her as a bait for ** sake! I can't believe that this will be a plan to succeed. I really hate it Nicole!" I lash out as she answered my call.

"I know, I was there in your position while ago but we need to trust him. My brother was worried sick but he's willing to help. Pwedeng makasira sa plano to kung mappatay ng kapatid ko si Vion nang ganoon kadali. Sya na lang din naman ang natitira but there are so many guards. My brother was fuming mad that I can't even know him now. Let's just help each other. We are here and Xyria insists. I don't sense some fear on her because she waited this for so long and wanted some vengeance for her brother."

Kahit ayaw kong tanggapin na ginagawa nila ito para mapadaling lumapit sa amin si Vion ay napilitan akong pumayag. I don't want to destroy their plan just because I disagree.

Nang makarating ng hotel ay maraming tao na nakakasalumha ko. I reach the seocnd to the last floor and hide to Vion's room. I can hear Xyria's dangerous voice as she kicked his middle and he groaned in pain.

I think I'm late to notice as I saw earlier the dead body of his guards including his butler. I even saw my friends with their husbands holding a gun with Nicole who almost allow to kill and ended up lying on the floor.

"That's for my brother, you didn't even hesitate to kill him in front of me you **er. Don't ever show yourself to me, even you're older than me, I have no respect from the evil people like you. And remember my words, you'll be suffer for years and who knows what my men will do to you. Justice will be reserved and to the people you killed will be haunting you. Forever." As she finished her sentence. I heard a loud shot as my eyes widened when she shot him in his knee without hesitating. Xyria dropped the gun without emotion in her face after walking out with the gloves on her hand.

I search some things like drugs and dirty money before reporting to our Boss. I used my handkerchief to hold some jewelry and some kind of powder drugs with the help of Patricia Freya and Nicole.

"At last, we'll be finally at peace. Alam natin na kulang ang pagkakakulong lang sa kanya pero hindi naman na sya makakawala pa. My org was moving and they stole his money and property. Sa org naman ni Chloe, si Lucas na daw ang bahala, he'll make sure that he will forever traumatize and tortume him inside of the Jail. Nag request pa nga ako ng chain kaso hindi naman sila pumayag." Pag irap nya.

"We also checked some location, hindi tayo pwede matuwa bigla dahil hindi naman taga dito ang nakatira si Gutierrez. We'll track some more para masigurado na walang kakalat na balita sa bansang pinang galingan nya bago mag punta dito."

"Thank you." Iyon na lamang ang nasabi ko.

I'll just wait and wait for a few weeks until it announced that no enemy has found alive. I finally free and relieved.

Days past as I feel better when my best friend's wedding comes. I'm not even talk the whole day not until the reception comes and gave a message from her and to my cousin.

"Congratulations for the both of you. I am happy that you two still choose and stay at each other through the years when Chloe almost give up not until you show again cous, explaining her everything and what have you done in these past years. I know my best friend are still healing and yours situation is not even easy to accept my cousin again, but thank you Chloe, to gave him a second chance and to love him again. I know it's not even easy to gave it but still you choose to sacrifice and be with my cous even you thought he betray you but he has a plan. I understand that becauss I'm on a situation right now, leaving you clueless will make you suffer all those years. But now, you two are still here, forgiving each other and accepting each other's fault or mistakes. Chloe, I know you're the most understanding here but I am happy that you choose my cousin and unexpectedly loving him. Thank you for taking care of him and gave hom second chance to be with you. And cous, thank you for loving her endlessly eve though I'm still mad at you for hurting my best friend. But it's in the past now. I just wish you two to stay strong and have more patience that even now you're a husband and wife, again. Congratulations lovers."

We all cheered and making some arround of applause after speaking. Hindi ko na namalayan na napaiyak na pala ako nang yakapin ko ang dalawang nasa unahan.

"Love you babe," Bulong ni Chloe.

"Love you too, be happy." I kissed her cheeks and smiled at my cousin before I left.

Bumalik na ako sa table namin lalo na nang matapos ang ma dramang speech ay nagkaroon na nang after party. Halos lahat ay nagsayawan nang tawagin ako ni Azure. Nagpaalam na muna ako sa mga kaibigan ko bago ko sya sinundan.

"Krish, your appointment to your Doctor will be tomorrow. Can you attend alone? I'll be busy for the work."

"I'm tired, can you just re schedule it? Alam mo naman na mga ilang araw pa tayong makaka uwi. May kasal pa ulit iyong dalawa sa Pilipinas." Napapagod nang sabi ko nang makaramdam ako ng antok.

Azure sighed heavily. "Fine, but drink your meds okay? Are you sleepy now?"

Tumango ako nang ipikit ko ang mata ko. "I'm tired of everything, how the pain will stop?"

There's a silence between us in a minute. I decided to open my eyes just to see him looking at me before looking at the sea.

"Have a closure when you're okay. I know it's hard because it triggers you when you just saw him. You might panic and having throwbacks when we are in Florida. I don't want you to do that again Krish. It takes time to heal." He holds my hand and carresed my finger ring. "So help yourself first and it's up to you when you will know his reasons behind it. Just choose if you just want to love yourself first after the pain, or accept him again."

His phone rings as he answer his phone and sign wait. I make a thumbs up and looked at the sea. I closed my eyes when I felt the air welcoming me.

I felt so free.

After the reception, we choose to sleep in separate rooms not only when Azure entered my room. "Kailangan lang kita bantayan, just let me help you until you'll be fine."

Tumango na lang ako at hindi nagsalita. Kinuha ko ang cream at inilagay iyon sa wrist ko bago matulog. It helps my skin will go back to normal without scars leaving it.

"Come here, I'll cuddle you so your anxiety will leave you for tonight." He calmly said as I go to the bed and hugged him tightly.

He hugged me back as he caressed my hair. "I'm sorry" I spoke softly as I looked at him. "For not loving you back, and for cheating you."

Kumunot ang noo nya. "Cheating? We're not together-"

"But we still engaged." Pagdidiin ko. "Your family will freak out if they knew this. It was so stupid of me-"

"Shusshh, calm down Krish, I know. But they knew too."

Nagugulat akong napatingin sa kanya. "What do you mean?"

"They just plan to continue after inviting other people. They don't want to disappoint their visitors. Remember that my brother and father is like not happy? And my mother just pretend so the plan will not ruined because you're not loving me."

"What will they do if their visitors will know that night?"

Nag aalalang tanong ko at sinalubong ang tingin nya.

He smiles and kissed my forehead. "Don't worry, I'll fix this not just because I want it, just because I wanted to gave you peace and because I love you."
