Her Mother Knows
The smell of freshly cooked scrambled eggs penetrated Kathrina as she observed Arthur move around her kitchen comfortably like he was familiar with it. She positioned her chin between her palms and propped her elbows on the table's surface for support.
The corner of her lips did not stop moving upward since she woke up, and she did not think it would return to normal soon. After he left her apartment, the muscle on her face would likely turn rigid.
Arthur turned around to face her with two big plates. His face was still as perfect as last night. His hair fell on his forehead, almost reaching his brows, and his wrinkled clothes were the only sign to show that he had just woken up. Even those greek gods would envy him if they saw how perfect Arthur's state was after waking up.
